Business Development Manager

Currently performing duties as Business Development Manager in STAHLCO Engineering Pvt Ltd, It is one of the “Top 5” Automobiles (Rickshaw) Manufacturers and renowned for its Engineering Vehicles parts Manufacturing excellence i.e. tractors and is one of the leading group from clientele standpoint in both private and public sectors of Pakistan. I joined this firm after successfully completing assigned project as a project manager in Kexcon Consulting. Since my joining I have been involved, at different levels, in various assignments of business developments and special assignments.

My position requires me to execute project management and supervising and coordinating work of staff and external third parties with main emphasis on planning, developing and maintaining commercially productive relationships with both new and existing accounts to ensure consistent recurring revenues; managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision and working closely with clients to deliver winning products, reporting and administrating my team and play a pivotal role in driving new business prospects forward, and assisting in maximizing revenue opportunities. Below is the summary of my responsibilities:

 Planning and developing the right marketing strategy to get the product noticed by the target audience.
 Ensure Implementation of sales and marketing strategies and plans.
 Reviewing plans against actual results and then trying to determine reasons for any deviations.
 Set product pricing for new product releases to meet revenue and profitability goals.
 Performed competitive analysis of organization’s strengths and weaknesses.
 Identified and negotiated deals with vendors for infrastructure set up for the new projects.
 Reduced the costs and lead time by modifying the procurement procedures and identifying new vendors.
 Promote the company brand to key buyers, ensuring their knowledge is current and appropriate.
 Liaising with new and existing clients over the phone and meeting them face to face.
 Identifying tender opportunities.
 Develop partnerships with third parties and external organizations.
 Assisting in the recruitment, training and development of staff.
 Supervising and directing employees in their day-to-day tasks.
 Brief and train the sales force at quarterly sales meetings to create product awareness and demand.
 Giving continuous accurate and relevant feedback to company Directors and Senior Manager.
 Reviewing customer feedback and then suggesting ways to improve processes and service levels.
