Working remotely for the Dubai office leading global team of Architects and Technicians coordinating with worldwide based multidisciplinary consultant design teams and Client team for projects based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Projects worked on include:
• Trojena Ski Village, Neom, Saudi Arabia - Leading the detail design team to develop details for 250, 000m2 global landmark tourism development located within the NEOM Mountains of KSA. The project consists of two hotels (5 star and 4 star) with branded apartments, residential, F&B and retail together with recreational facilities within the ski experience. Coordinating with the architectural project team and multidisciplinary design consultant teams which include Structural Engineers, Façade Engineers, MEP engineers, Landscape Architects, and specialist consultants (Fire Life Safety, Acoustics, Vertical Transportation, and Façade Cleaning and Maintenance Engineers).
• King Salman Square Journey of 100 Stories Visitor Centre, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - Lead the detail design process of historic cultural visitor centre development At-Turaif district, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; with Client interface in coordination with Lead Design Consultant and, Structural Engineers, MEP engineers, Civil Engineers, Landscape Architects, and specialist consultants (Fire Life Safety, Acoustics, Vertical Transportation, Façade Engineering and Façade Cleaning and Maintenance Engineers).
The practice specialises in the design and project management of holiday & leisure facilities including bars and restaurants.
Coordinating with Client, Contractors, Interior Designers, local authorities and specialist Planning Consultants, Building Control, including Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs ( Defra).
Worked on sketch design through planning applications and detail design of leisure complexes.
• Sands Complex, St Ives Bay, Cornwall (£15m) - Lead the design and planning application for the extension & refurbishment of the Sands Complex at St. Ives Bay Holiday Park overlooking St. Ives Bay in Cornwall which includes a restaurant, bar, entertainment facilities, kitchen, & BOH amenities.
• Dynamite Complex, St Ives Bay, Cornwall (£250, 000) - Lead the detail design / tender package coordinating with Main Contractor, Project Manager and Client.
Multi-disciplinary architectural and buildings consultancy practice involved in the procurement, designing and modernisation of buildings with practical solutions and consistently good service.
Controlling projects and supervising project teams of Architects and Technicians from inception through to completion to ensure high quality, innovative, aesthetically pleasing functional designs that match client’s needs. Coordinated with Structural Engineers, Main Contractors and Employers Agents, Landscape Architects, Fire Engineering specialists, and Local Authorities (Planning and Building Control)

• Copley Close, Hanwell West London, (£57m) - Mixed use residential development
• Harmony, Twickenham Road, (£36m) - 298 residential units across all tenures of housing
• Cambourne Residential Development (£26m) - Development of green field site to provide mixed-tenure scheme on a phased basis over a 5-year period. New build of 320 low rise homes for social housing to integrate with local vernacular including eco-homes.
• Stanhope Estate, Ashford (£80m) - Remodelling and renewal of the ’Radburn’ layout estate
• Waltham Forest HAT, London (£54m) - Lead Consultants & Master planning for Phase 3, 4 and 5 of four large scale estates regeneration
My responsibilities and accomplishments, as Senior Associate and team leader, involves heading the project teams at site and design office.
- Most recently at Al Seef, heading the GAJ site office (alongside Atkins/ATK, Mace, Cracknell, CH2M, and Contractor Dutco Balfour Beatty), as key representative for GAJ leading a team of Architects, Interior Design and Site Engineers, for design coordination and technical supervision ensuring that the architectural design intent is achieved and maintained.
The development consists of an open-air mall with F&B and retail outlets with Souqs, and hospitality (200-bed hotel complex for the Jumeirah Group) recreating an experience of old Dubai by extending the existing historic district of Bastakiya along Dubai Creek.
- Daily duties include front-end Client interface, managing coordination between collaborative team of professionals multi-disciplinary consultants teams (architecture, MEP & Structure, landscape, specialist sub-consultants including façade works and fire engineering), managing on-site engineers interfacing with Main Contractor & sub-contractors (for Site Supervision, reviewing RFI's, Shop Drawings, Material Submittals, Method Statements, Statutory Authority requirements).
Daily duties include front end Client interface, managing design coordination between collaborative team of professionals multi-disciplinary consultants teams (architecture, MEP & Structure, landscape, specialist consultants including façade works), managing architectural teams, on-site engineers interfacing with Main Contractor & sub-contractors (for Site Supervision, reviewing RFI's, Shop Drawings, Material Submittals, Method Statements).
Senior Design Manager at Resolution Engineering Consultancy based in Muscat with responsibility for managing design and technical coordination of the Muscat design office. My current projects include the National Museum of Oman (architectural Project Management role), hospitality developments, commercial offices, and residential developments.
Site based Resident Architect on the Majlis Oman Parliament building in Muscat, Oman (cost - approx. R.O. 200 million/ £320 million GBP).
Responsible for the co-ordination of consultants and Contractor to facilitate the construction process on site. Based on site having close working relations with design architects, structural and civil engineers and MEP engineers, landscape architects, the main Contractor, sub contractors, and specialist consultants which include fire engineering and acoustics.

Principle role as Asset Manager for the 5 star and 4 star hotel towers, having extensive experience in detail design, responsible for the co-ordination of consultants to facilitate the construction process on site.
Based within site office and having close working relations with the client, design architects, structural engineers and MEP engineers, and specialist consultants which include vertical transportation and cladding.
The Central Market redevelopment to transform the old historic souk (market) in Abu Dhabi, occupying 5.7 hectares designed by Foster and Partners and for ALDAR Properties. John Robertson Architects were appointed by ALDAR Properties PJSC as Delivery Architect to facilitate the construction process on site.
The development houses a traditional Arabian souk, a shopping mall of branded retail outlets, 5 levels of car parking connecting the shopping mall with an atrium, cinemas, restaurants, 4 star business hotels, with 3 high rise towers consisting of 55 storey 5 star luxury hotel, 58 storey international grade A office tower, and 85 storey height luxury apartments tower, which when completed will be the tallest building in Abu Dhabi.

Extensive experience principally within the Social affordable and Private residential housing sectors. Principle role in project design, responsible for the co-ordination of consultants and carrying out projects from inception to completion.
Responsible for overall Computer Aided Design and working with a team of operators to resource the needs of the practice and their clients. Responsibility for projects for planning, Building Regulations approval and 3 - Dimensional presentations.

Re-development of the former Alberta House site opposite the River Thames and the Millennium Dome in Greenwich, London to provide 133 residential units across 3 buildings up to 25 storeys.
