1. Incharge and Focal point for coordinating with Client Managers, Client Engineers, Company Field Managers, Site Supervisors and Technicians.
2. Monitors rotating equipment performance and operation; oversees the predictive and preventive maintenance programs, equipment upgrades, and the maintenance strategy effectiveness of rotating assets
3. In Charge for Work Scheduling and Planning for Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annually for Plants, Stations & Equipments and attending weekly meeting with Client for discussing work progress
4. Support on-site learning and development of Supervisors, Plant Operators, Maintenance and Mechanical Technician Team
5. Responsible for Work Completion of Rotary Equipments, Static Equipments, Piping & Plumbing Works as per approved by Client, Project Manager and Planning Department
6. Liaison between client and other contractors for new & on-going projects.
7. Reviewing of Design Solutions/ P&ID and Compiling it with Client Code of Practice and Standard Design Standards
8. Review Work Procedures, Method of Statements prior to the work as per the Client Guide Lines and Contract Scope of Work
9. In-charge for inspection of third party/subcontractor work and it's work progress in the site
10. Overall In charge of Operation and Maintenance of Utility & MEP Services using CMMS/CAFM system in the Sites including Industrial Harbour, Utility Plants, Residential Units, Commercial Units, Schools, Hospitals, Fire Fighting Stations, Potable Water-Sewage Water-Irrigation Water Network.
11. Coordinating with Store/ Procurement Department for Material Status and Planning Site Activities accordingly
12. Supervision of all Reactive and Planned Maintenance works in the Site Facilities which includes Utility Plants, Villas, High Rise Buildings, Schools, Hospitals, Shopping Mall, Recreation Centers, Swimming Pools, Water Features, Fountains, Rolling Shutters & Automatic Road Barriers, Cradles, Children Play and Gym Equipments
1. To brief foreman, supervisors and subcontractors about the work
2. Ensure a strict check on production rate and target of each machine of my scheduled production line
3. Making production report of the scheduled production line
4. Ensure strict check on quality of work being executed.
5. Ensure that all foreman are doing their respective work with proper personal protective equipments
6. Ensuring whether operators and foremen are following proper standards while working
7. Issuing production sheet to operators and supervisors
8. Ensure proper flow of materials and material management in store.
9. Another main job as is process planning. In process planning my main duty was to decide which die should be on which press according to the production plan instructed by the Management.
10. To get in touch with Maintenance Dept. and report to the Maintenance officer if any troubleshooting occurs in any of the Machines during the Working time
As in the Maintenance Department of BPCL, visted all refinery plants and have done Vibrations Tests with
Vibration Analyser and also observed how damaged machine parts are corrected.
As a student trainee I also got access to almost all plants and departments of Kochi Refinery.
In KSRTC Regional Workshop I acted as Workshop Superintendent and observed all functioning of the
regional workshop. It was also a great pleasure for me to see and observe things that I have seen in the theory
textbooks.
