•Ensured payments for 19 different sister concern were processed in a timely and accurate manner.
•Processed and monitored the processing of invoices, purchase orders, ledger, Statement of A/c and payment transactions.
•Identified new cost-effective vendors during acquisitions' process and managed their integration. The earlier vendors charging higher than the market price were identified and pricing discrepancies were investigate, discussed & corrected which all resulted in 15% cost saving.
•Renegotiated payment terms with suppliers/vendors.
•Performed bank reconciliations for the Accounts Payable account and updated the general ledger system as needed for outstanding payments.
• Maintained files and documentation thoroughly and accurately.
• Conducted monthly closing process, accruals and journal entries.
•Recommended by the Group director for an increase of KD.150/- with effect
