•Reviewing ITB (Initial Technical Bid) documents submitted in the proposals stage, issuing inquiry requisitions, reviewing techno-commercial vendor offers, preparing equipment, materials and man-hours estimation

•Thorough study of Thermal design output, tender and customer enquiries and their drawings of Fire Tube Boiler (Shell and Packaged type Boiler), Water tube boiler (Travelling Grate & Fluidized Bed Combustion Boiler).
•Preparation of Inputs & Detail Drawing for Pressure parts based on Thermal Design Output.
•Preparation of Inputs & Detail Drawing for Boiler Piping, Main Steam Piping, Boiler Integral and External Piping based on General Arrangement of boiler and Stress analysis report.
•Preparing of Input & Detail Drawings of Boiler Non-pressure Parts (Steel Structural Columns, Tie Beams & Brazing etc.) with respect to the Structure design output.
•Preparation of Input & Detailed Fabrication Drawings for Ducting.
•Selection of Materials based on the metal working temperature as per ASME Section-II.
•Selection of Pipe & Fittings as per ASME B16.5, B16.9, B16.11 & B36.10.
•Provide complete information to draftsman to prepare the fabrication drawings and checking thoroughly and releasing the same for manufacturing and Approval on my own responsibility

•Responsible for Releasing of Pressure Parts Drawings, Piping Isometric Drawings, Piping Supports Drawings, Non-Pressure Parts Drawings with Detailed Fabrication Drawings ensuring compliance to codes, standards and project specification.
•Selection of Spring Hangers & Pipe Supports for piping based on Stress analysis output.
•Preparing (and/or) checking of Design calculations with IBR & ASME code (ASME Section-I, ASME B31.1) and submitting to Approval of statutory authorities.
•Preparing necessary bought out items list and submitting to indenting group.
•Preparing and verifying of material forecast (Raw materials/Bought outs) from the drawings for procurement purpose.
•Preparing Feed Pump, Desuperheater, Pressure Reducer and DeSuperheater (PRDS), Control Valve & Flow Meter Technical Data sheet and also giving approval for the vendor datasheet & GA for the above.
•Solving the problems, which were raised in the fabrication (DCN) and erection stages (NCR) of Boiler.

Role:
•Preparation of Detail Engineering Drawings of Pressure Parts, Piping and their Supports for Fluidized Bed Combustion Boilers, Heat Recovery Steam Generators boiler.
•Preparation of code calculations as per IBR & ASME codes for Pressure Parts and Integral Piping for obtaining approval from statutory authorities.
•Preparation of 2D, Isometric drawings and 3D Models using AUTOCAD in order to find fouling of components.
•Preparation of Erection Welding Schedule (EWS), containing electrode specifications and NDE requirements for Pressure part butt weld joints for the above boilers based on the P- Number Grouping and Welding Procedure Specification (WPS).
•Preparation of Material Forecast List for Procurements Purpose.
•Preparation of Group Material Specifications (GMS), Design Change Notification (DCN), Material Forecast through SAP package.
