As Event Manager I lead on the organisation of all key campus events, working collaboratively with all campus departments, global teams, Hult event partners and external suppliers. Student satisfaction and the profile of Hult International Business School are at the core of my day-to-day activities. As such, exceptional customer service and professionalism are crucial to allow me to succeed in the role. I am the conduit for all Events enquiries on Campus and must therefore keep all Campus teams updated with upcoming events and manage the availability of campus space.
On a daily basis I:
- Manage all on site and off-site events from conception to completion
- Design and theme all events
- Negotiate and build relationships with numerous suppliers and venues
- Venue finding in and around London
- Management of a number of large events, such as; Graduation, the Hult Winter Ball, the Annual Awards Ceremony, the local and regional Hult Prize competition and all staff events
- Maintain the campus-wide Hult events calendar, liaise with students and staff to ensure that all events (large or small) are kept up to date at all times and shared in a timely manner
- Am the key point of contact for all departments when scheduling events throughout the academic year
- Develop and monitor all guidelines/processes for running a campus event and provide on-going support to staff and students in creating and managing campus events
- Manage logistics and communication for all key Post Graduate Campus Events, liaising with Hult Student Services, Sales & Marketing and Branding departments as necessary, as well as Hult students.
- Act as an events management advisor to student clubs, particularly the Events Management Club and recruit and manage a small team of students for event support throughout the year
- Support Corporate Relations and Careers Services with Events Management best-practice and logistics
- Act as the key campus contact for all visits by external visitors, ensuring that members of senior management team are informed accordingly
- Act as Venue Events Manager when external companies are holding events on Hult Campuses
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations in developing a comprehensive Events program & strategy.
- Act as the London key contact with the Sales, Marketing & PR teams, ensuring open communication across all departments. Projects include: Open Houses & Campus Premiere events and centrally driven Hult or EF Global events
- To manage and coordinate the internal methods of communication for promoting events
- Liaise with local businesses to negotiate partnerships and maintain a database of local vendors for event supplies/support.
- Manage budgets up to £200, 000 and maintain accurate records of all expenditure and in addition, effectively and accurately manage inventory of Gift Vouchers and other event related stocks
