• Worked with the participant project delivery team to ensue effective execution and delivery of Dubai Expo 2020 (World’s greatest show); over 190 countries participate in this show with over 200 food halls and Thematic.

• Assisting staff members in managing and resolving health and safety issues, also coordinating with the HSE VP and Director to develop and review construction delivery management system and critical risk standards.
• Conducting meetings with the seniors (VP and senior directors) to ensure effective implementation of Expo assurance standards across projects while focusing on improving overall standards.
• Analysing tender documents submitted by clients while conducting meetings with the contractors and consultants to give advice on legally compliant HSE resource, management plans, etc before approving plot possession to participants.
• Maintaining close communication with the Dubai Authorities and utilities providers (Dubai Municipality, Dubai South, DEWA, RTA, Etisalat) to define and integrate process and protocols with the construction activities.
• Conducting and participating in monthly health and safety forums as well as quarterly environmental forums.
• Facilitating and promoting safe working environment across Expo site; successful in transitioning all assets from the contractor to the events operations team, other business departments and external stakeholders.
Scope/Description: N&M is a leading events technology company in Germany and Middle East involved in integration of systems to ongoing construction projects and completed projects. Reporting to General Manager.
Responsibilities:
Develop, and monitored N&M’s first Health & Safety, Worker Welfare policies for UAE operations.
Developed and oversaw the implementation of long-term projects specific HSE plans, Method Statements & risk assessment, HSE programs and auditing process.
Supported lean & Kaizen workshops to resolve issues with delayed project mobilisation & completion which led to profits and an average of 95% compliance to base line program on 12 short-term projects in 3 months.
Hired HSE Advisors for required long-term projects and review performance.
Involved in prequalifications & selection of all contractors and suppliers.
Carried out an office Ergonomics assessment, wrote management report and recommendation, which reduced sick absence by 60% compared to previous quarter.

• Managed 2296 Akoya- Oxygen villas, Villanova 3000+ residential villas.
• Utilised various Lean tools to resolve project issues, enable error-proof processes, analyse safety trends and develop effective plans as well as developed analytical and dashboard performance approach to safety management key risks.
