• Develop Laboratory QMS following ISO 17025:2017 and implementation for the Material Testing Physical laboratory, Water/ Wastewater Chemical and Microbiological laboratory.
• Control the production laboratory as per QCS 2014 and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and Ashghal standards.
• Development of Laboratory Quality policies, manuals, system procedures, SOPs, Work Instructions, and Work Sheets.
• Develop in collaboration with relevant departments/units training content that covers basic, important, and relevant technical requirements of material testing (presentations, checklists, and exams).
• Liaise with clients when needed and directed for a variety of technical clarifications.
• Develop Training Manuals, Training Presentations, and Performance Evaluation Questionnaires and Evaluate Competency of Laboratory Personnel.
• Address Non-conformances and take Corrective Actions/ Preventive Actions for Ashghal Audits and Third-Party Audits.
• Responsible for monitoring the QA/QC system in the laboratory facilities ensuring compliance with the requirements of various local and international codes, standards, and regulations.
• To identify potential risks to the Quality System, take action or makes a recommendation to eliminate the risks as per ISO 9001:2015, 17025:2017.
• Prepare, review QA/ Inspection & Testing plans. Ensure all inspections and testing are conducted as per frequency.
• To work closely with facilities, planning, and project management in the review of procedures, plans, and specifications.
• To conduct audit inspection for compliance with local statutory codes and standards.
• Conduct monthly Quality Meetings with site quality team and management.
• Address Quality/ Safety/ Environmental Management compliance and serve as Management Representative.
• Develop laboratory activities’ Risk Assessments, Method of Statements, and Job Safety Analysis.
• Develop productive business relationships with clients, consultants, and third-party testing laboratories.
• Analyze technical aspects of the project and develop methods, techniques to be used, and principles to be applied.
• Prepare project progress reports. Evaluate the competencies of Lab Technicians and arrange training as per training Matrices.
• Participate in project meetings and represent top management.
• Develop Laboratory QMS per ISO 17025:2017 and implementation for the Water chemical and microbiological laboratory.
• Setup of the production laboratory as per QCS 2014 and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and Ashghal standards.
• Development of Laboratory Quality policies, manuals, system procedures, SOPs, Work Instructions, and Work Sheets.
• Address Non-conformances and take Corrective Actions/ Preventive Actions.
• Responsible for monitoring the QA/QC system in the laboratory facilities ensuring compliance with the requirements of various local and international codes, standards, and regulations.

• Develop productive business relationships with clients, consultants, and third-party testing laboratories.
• Analyze technical aspects of the project and develop methods, techniques to be used, and principles to be applied.
• Provide leadership for the day-to-day operations of Lab Technicians.
• Evaluate the competencies of Lab Technicians and arrange training as per training Matrices.
• Control the turnaround and compilation of third-party laboratory test reports.
• To monitor and ensure the maintenance of laboratory and test equipment condition/calibration and maintain a log of the same as required by the QA/Inspection & Testing Plans.
• Participate in project meetings and represent top management.
• Generate monthly invoices for clients; manage workforce and timesheets.
• Develop QMS in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and implementation for the Asphalt Plant and Aggregate Crusher Unit.
• Setup of the production laboratory as per QCS 2014 and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards.
• Development of Plant and Laboratory Quality policies, manuals, system procedures, SOPs, Work Instructions, and Work Sheets.
• Address Non-conformances and take Corrective Actions/ Preventive Actions.
• Responsible for monitoring the QA/QC system in the Asphalt Plant and Crusher facilities ensuring compliance with the requirements of various local and international codes, standards, and regulations.
• To identify potential risks to the Quality System, take action, or makes recommendations to eliminate the risks as per ISO 9001:2015.
• To conduct Quality Inspections on raw materials and final Asphalt Hot Mix with the Laboratory Department.
• Prepare, review QA/ Inspection & Testing plans. Ensure all inspections and testing are conducted as per frequency.
• To work closely with facilities, planning, and project management in the review of procedures, plans, and specifications.
• To conduct audit inspection for compliance with local statutory codes and standards.
• Conduct monthly Quality Meetings with site quality team, management, and senior engineers.
• Monitoring procurement of lab equipment, glassware, PPE, and ensuring the quality of the supplied products.
• Liaise with calibration agencies and third-party laboratories. Frequent site quality inspections of plant machinery.
• Conduct Quality related training and induction for staff and newly hired employees.
As Sr. Chemist/ Microbiologist,
• Sample preparation and analysis of transformer oil like Particle size distribution, Moisture Content by ASTM standards.
• Maintain updated knowledge of General Laboratory Management and Statistical Quality Control techniques; prepare documentation for ISO/IEC 17025:2005 laboratory quality certifications.
As Sr. Civil Laboratory Technician,
• Sample preparation and physical analysis of soil like Sieve Analysis, Atterberg Limits, Particle Size Distribution by Hydrometer Test, Moisture Content, Proctor Compaction test, California Bearing Ratio, Bulk Density, insitu soil NDT and insitu soil Plate Load Test as per ASTM, BS and BS EN.
• Sample preparation and analysis of Asphalt like Marshall Test, Binder Content, and Thickness of layers, Sieve Analysis, Air Voids Ratio, Bulk Density, and insitu asphalt NDT as per ASTM, AASHTO and BS EN.
As QHSE Coordinator/ Radiation Protection Officer,
• Daily coordination and liaison with the Contractor Quality and HSE Managers.
• Verify and evaluate Laboratory Statistical Control Charts for accuracy and errors.
• Conduct ISO 9001, ISO 17025, EMS 14001, and OHSAS 18001 internal audits.
• Carry out frequent site inspections with client and contractor representatives.
• Maintain personal monitoring programs for users of radioactive substances.
• Oversee the application of HSE procedures on radiation safety and review radiation safety aspects.
• Respond to, investigate, and develop corrective action following safety incidents.
As Site Laboratory Manager
• Involved in supervision in the testing of soil, aggregates, asphalt, steel, concrete, water, and wastewater & insitu density of soil in an ISO/IEC 17025:2005 laboratory environment
• Develop productive business relationships with clients, consultants, and third-party testing laboratories.
• Analyze technical aspects of the project and develop methods, techniques to be used, and principles to be applied.
• Provide leadership for the day-to-day operations of Lab Technicians.
• Control the turnaround and compilation of third-party laboratory test reports.
