AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Reporting to Overall SHE Team Leader.
•Supervises/monitors the activities of Safety Officers and disseminate information to Safety Officers.
•Conducts daily safety walkthrough with Safety Officers.
•Ensures that the established SHE plan is being followed.
•Summarizes the audit reports of Safety Officers.
•Attends the Daily Tool Box Meetings of employees.
•Participates in incident/accident investigations.
•Conducts SHE Training as required.
•Maintains necessary records, reports, and information for tracking safety progress.
•Direct “Stop Work Orders” for any activities that pose an immediate danger to personnel or have potential to cause serious damage. Inform the Overall SHE Team Leader and concerned staff of any Stop work Orders.
SAFETY OFFICER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Implementation of company approved loss control programs.
•Conduct daily safety pre-start meeting and prepare official minutes for project management team information.
•Ensure personnel are provided with personal protective equipment’s according to the kind of their work to be performed.
•Identify and analyze all hazards for workers under different sites and types.
•Provide safety indoctrination safety training and education to newly employees on site.
•Prepare daily/weekly accomplishment safety report.
•Attend client contractor weekly, coordination safety meeting.
•Initiate the companys policy for the control of injury, damaged and fire.
•Identify all hazards, observed noticed and make official report for supervisor to make immediate action.
•Monitor any heavy lift activities on site and ensure all necessary documents, such as lifting permit, lifting plan, third party inspection test, certificate of lifting accessories, ground area condition or soil density test record are available prior to lifting activities.
•Ensure that formal Hazard Identification Plan is prepared in order to identify and correct hazards which may be encountered during construction.
•Perform all duties and responsibilities as a SAFETY OFFICIAL.
