Basic Functions:
Determine how best to represent a concept visually.
Determine which photographs, art, or other design elements to use.
Develop/execute the overall look or style of a publication, an advertising campaign, or a photoshoot.
Review and approve designs, artwork, photography, and graphics development.
Talk to clients to develop an artistic approach and style.
Coordinate activities with other artistic or creative sectors.
Develop detailed budgets and timelines.
Present designs to clients for approval.
Reviewed and monitored the prints, and recommended changes to be made in order to perfect the product.
Analyzed the shortcomings of the project in order to quickly construct possible solutions and implement them.
Basic Functions:
Develops, prepares and creates/executes different campaign projects for KOC and 4 Films Printing Group.
Provides technical advises with regards to any pre and post production printing jobs such as color separation process and any form of print advertising.
Multi-tasking of different jobs like 3D design, photo shoot and copywriting when necessary.
Develops, prepares and creates high-quality design for advertising and marketing requirements (campaign elements, brand & corporate materials like Annual Reports, newsletters, Articles of Association, collaterals, premiums, etc.) with significant focus on meeting both the GIC’s needs and effective use of resources and budget.
Assists in the development of campaign strategy.
Provides ideas, giving advice on appopriate media solutions.
Monitors the GIC Website’s visibility and proper functionality on the net as well as its maintenance which requires modifications and updates from time to time (uploads of different kinds).
Monitors usage of GIC Branding on all aspects & application as per GIC’s Corporate Branding Identity which I created.
Facilitates corporate requirements from different departments which include the GIC branding. Likewise assisting other department colleague’s inquiry on usage of branding.
Provides technical advises with regards to any pre and post production printing jobs such as color separation process and any form of print advertising.
Recommends additional peripheral and software to accelerate production for the department.
Collaborates creatively on GIC’s large projects (Open Day, Conferences, Major Presentations)
Provides creative support to different department personnel.
Art Direction and consultations, conceptions and designs of all Investment Dar Company and its 16 subsidiary companies, likewise, on other projects prior to my assignment in Investment Dar. Designing corporate presentations, collaterals, print publications and multimedia requirements of Investment Dar.
Graphics and Layout Design/Visualization
Visual Manipulation (Retouching, Color Correction, etc).
Serves as Technical Adviser with regards to Color Separation process, Pre-production and Post-production of Ad and Print Jobs.
Responsible for the maintenance and expansion of the department by recommending additional peripherals and softwares to accelerate production.
Organizes texts and graphics files in the server to provide easy access to other colleagues.
Gives training instruction pertaining to technical and software inquiries.
Visual rendition as per client's specification.
Image manipulation (color correction, retouching, etc.).
Serves as Technical Assistant to this department
Coordinates with Quality Control circle regarding project requirement or quality control discussions.
In the absence of the Department Head, act as the officer in- charge of the department
Gives training instructions to my co-employees if
necessary.
