*Meeting with Clients, Consultant and Engineers for drawing proposal and submissions
*Prepares engineering drawings on CAD / Revit system which involves limited design and establish a complete and accurate data as necessary.
*Produce plans, details, isometrics, graphs and charts from sketches provided by Engineers/Designers.
*Site visit for actual purposes and study the actual conditions

The project's scope of work consists of a new expressway located at Al Khor, Qatar. The highway will be 35-kilometer long and comes with 12 bridges and crossings and will link Doha with Lusail, Al Khor, and the new stadiums. It will consist of five lanes in each direction and is to be completed in 30 months. It will also include 8 intersections and pedestrian, bicycle and motorcycle lanes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Preparing pipe networks and making profiles.
• Preparing road signs, marking, traffic signals and ITS layout.
• Work on UGN (Unified government networks).
• Q.C with the networks and profiles for the finals and export to Acad and publish.
• working under pressure to finish the project on time.
• Check the clashing reports and finding the solutions for the clashes in the networks.
• Maintaining the whole project files in project-wise.

• Preparation of list of drawings and distributing to the draughtsman.
• Preparation of detailed shop-drawings for all type of architectural & civil requirements.
• Preparation all types of builder’s coordinated drawings including MEP services drawings.
• Preparation of Coordination and As-built drawings.
• Providing details as follow-up for site execution team and sub-contractors.
• Supervision and mentoring of junior draughtsman.
• Meeting with Clients, Consultant and Engineers for drawing proposal and submissions
• Providing detailed 3D drawings and real time renders for clients
• Prepares engineering drawings on CAD / Revit system which involves limited design and establish a complete and accurate data as necessary.
• Gathers and review all incoming informations needed for the preparation of the project.
• Develop, implement and enforce Revit / CAD standards and templates for drawing preparations.
• Co-ordinates with lead engineers and Revit / CAD team for any MEP service's alterations, additions and gather supporting data required for drawing/ BIM model development & prepares completed drawings to issue and perform related work as required
• When necessary preparing drawings from scratch.
• Manage and maintain the record of all incoming and outgoing drawings from the office in accordance quality Assurance procedures.

• Preparation of all shop drawings for the Structural formworks (2D/3D) such as underground car park, clinic building, hospital building pedestrian tunnel, connecting bridge, Roads. And also making MEP /Architectural Drawings for submission.
• Prepare Shop Drawings of Reinforced Concrete Structures using AutoCAD and Third Party Application in preparing bar bending schedules. (BS code 8666:2005)
• Created Standard CAD files to improve presentation and checking of drawings.
• Shared knowledge with team members in the use of AutoCAD Software.
• Teamed-up with Architects to coordinate Architectural & Structural Drawings with MEP Drawings.
• Prepare As-Built Drawings for final project documentation.
• Prepare Design Drawings for submission before developing as Shop Drawings.
• Assist in the preparation of Tender Documents in different projects.
• Review Structural Shop Drawings prepared by Sub-Contractors before submitting to Consultants.
• Produce multi-discipline CAD drawings to the design, specifications, mark-ups and standard requirements of the Engineers and Directors from various outsourced projects.
• Provides support for internal drafting checks of drawing creations or revisions.
• Guide new CAD operators with stewardship of drafting standards & procedures.
• Participates in updating the company’s drafting standards & procedures.
• Produce plans, details, isometrics, graphs and charts from sketches provided by
Engineers/Designers.
• Study and Rendered Construction Technical inquiries (CTI) for some conflicting in the drawings.
• Site visit for actual purposes and study the actual conditions.

• Responsible and finalizes layout plan, schematic diagram and shop drawings for Electrical systems such as Lighting systems, Power systems, Grounding systems, Power Single Line Diagram, Load Schedule, Cable Tray System, Power Distribution and Panel board System in reference to drawing standards.
• Responsible in generating effective design layout and develop construction drawings and as-built drawings in accordance to drawing standards.
• Revised construction drawings as per consultant’s comments and remarks.
• Coordinate with other trades and contractors
• Checking of plan layouts, draws, and installation engineering drawings from basic layouts, established references, notes and discussions with engineers and standard data
• Completes layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices and develop complete major layouts of engineering drawings
• Responsible for maintaining accurate design and drawing package archives

• Responsible on maintaining revision history and most recent drawing packages
• Coordinate with other trades and contractors related to design matters.
• Familiarity with electrical symbols and schematics used in designs.
• Manage daily incoming works from project sites.
• Supervise a group of Labors at the site.
• Coordinate with project engineers and team members.
• Perform checking of outgoing drawings and prepares them for issuing to clients.
• Participate in meetings with line managers and supervisors to discuss concerns for work improvement.

• Making exact co-ordinates for site, using survey tools from the surveyors. Such as Road /civil drawings.
