Basic Responsibilities:
1. Pleasantly greeting customers who enter the shop.
2. Be involved in receiving, controlling and managing large amount of stocks.
3. Assisting shoppers or giving advices to find the products they are looking for.
4. Responsible for processing cash and debit/credit card payments and balancing cash registers with receipts.
5. Stocking shelves with proper merchandise and keeping it tidy and clean most of the time.
6. Answering queries from customers.
7. Reporting discrepancies and problems to the immediate supervisor.
8. Dealing with customer refunds.
9. Responsible dealing with customer complaints.
10. Responsible for security within the store and being on the lookout for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc.
11. Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.
12. Responsible for interacting and communicating with customers on phone or in person to determine and meet their merchandise requirements
13. Perform the tasks of entering name and phone numbers of potential customers for future references
