Ensures the quality records, acceptance certificates, mechanical completion certificates and the documentation for specific systems and areas are prepared and collated in accordance with project requirements
Coordinate with the planning and scheduling department to ensure milestone dates are understood for each turn over area
Coordinate with the site QC manager for the completion of as-built turnover documentation
Resolve any discrepancies between the completed milestone and quality documentation
Review suppliers inspection and test plans against the milestone scope of work
Coordinate with the commissioning department to define the scope of work
Assist the site subcontractors to compile turnover dossiers
Provide progress information for incorporation into project reports
Monitor hydrostatic test packs for incorporation into as-built dossiers
Consider the implications of delays in QC as-built turnover documentation and bring to the attention of the site QC manager
Monitor and control the status of punch list and exception lists relevant to quality dossiers
Attend the weekly QA/QC, and commissioning meetings
Coordinate any inconsistencies with test packages with the field QC site inspectors
Provide progress data to the planning and scheduling department
Monitor & Control of Sub-Contractors Activities and their quality performance .
Liaison with Client representatives on matters related to Quality.
Review of ITP & QC procedure.
Co-ordination with Client inspector & TPI for daily activities and for stage inspection.
Ensure that project construction activities are executed in accordance with approved quality plan and procedures.
Maintain & update all quality related documents at site.
Inspection of incoming materials.
Monitor and maintain control records for welding consumable and welder performance record.
Inspect piping & structural fit-ups, alignment and visual inspection of all welds.
Inspection Before, during & after Welding.
Review of RT films & other NDT reports.
Inspection of pressure test (Hydro/Pneumatic test) according to piping class, their test limit and required pressure.
System wise inspection for Pre-commissioning
Punch point clearance
Fabrication, Erection & Inspection of piping
Witness welder qualification test.
Inspection during fabrication such as bevel preparation, fit up, welding parameters monitoring
Inspection Before, during & after Welding
Preparation of Piping Test Packages, Mechanical Clearance Inspection & Pressure Test Inspection with Client
Controlling of test packs from Site & QC department
Coordinating with Planning for work schedules and priorities.
Coordinating with clients for the priority systems & handover the systems to start the Pre-commissioning activities
Coordinating with clients for work related queries & discrepancies of client documents
Punch list preparation of Test Packs
