Duties and Responsibilities Carrying out
• Monitor & Control the Implementation of the Company HSE-MS & HSE Policy throughout all management levels & reporting to management about HSE matter as per OHSAS-18001 and ISO-14001 requirements.
• Implementing ADNOC, GASCO, Abu Dhabi municipality Regulation, Company Safety Rules at site.
* Carry out site Inspection on regular basis to ensure the proper Implementation / Adherence of Health, Safety and Environment Standards as per company OHS and Environment-MS & HSE policy.
• Assist the construction site HSE Manager in the application of company HSE Policy & HSE Management System for site as well as workshop activities (Site preparation and construction) in compliance with International & Local HSE rules and regulation
• Check on application of HSE Policy and related reference documents (Directives, Rules, Specifications and Procedures.
• Check on the level of HSE training of personnel employed (Company and Contractors) and contribute to the development of training courses. Co-ordinate the execution of all HSE training for construction site personnel as per professional activity.
• Contribute to promote the company HSE Philosophy to all parties involved in the project within the framework of an integrated project team.
• Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment (HIRA), and ensuring Implementation of Control Measures.
• Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Hazard Communication and Recording.
• HSE Induction, Training, and OJT.
• Permit-to-Work System Compliance for Excavation, Hot work, Confined Space Work etc.,
• Co-ordination of Third Party Inspection for Cranes, Lifting accessories.
• Liaison with Approved External Training Agency to arrange External training for Site Scaffolders, Riggers, and crane operators as per Legal Requirement.
• Routine Site Safety Inspection and Reporting for improvement
• Co-ordination of Site Safety Audits with Consultant/Client
• Incident/Accident investigation and reporting
• Developing, Maintaining and Updating Safety Operation Procedures and Loss Prevention Standards, Codes and follow up to Ensure Implementation and Compliance.
• Rendition of periodic safety returns to corporate HSE Manager
Conduct of Site Staff Safety meeting to discuss Safety Issues
• Creation of HSE alertness and awareness amongst the site workforce through Safety Posters, Slogans, and Safety Alert Bulletins display at prominent places
• Discussion and resolution of safety issues with PMC/Consultant/Client
