rheological investigation like viscosity yield value, shear, time temperature
dependency pour point Restartability at ambient as well as under simulated
conditions.

• Developed lab setup to simulate and study wax deposition and scale up to field
pipelines down hole and other facilities.

• Evolved transportation strategy for transportation of waxy and heavy crude of North
Gujarat (1981-82)
• Indigenization of PPD for Bombay Offshore (1983-84)

• After exhaustive field and lab studies and field trials, stopped the usage of PPD in
Mumbai High offshore pipeline resulted in saving of recurring expenditure to the tune of INR 600 million annually (2001-02)

• Conduct courses / talks for ONGC, IIT and other organizations/institutions in flow
assurance

D: Petrophysics:
• Basic and special core studies on cores of exploratory wells. Studied include fluid
saturation, density, porosity, permeability, pore throat distribution, resistivity, and electrical properties.

• Has long experience of processing and studying conventional and unconventional
cores. In addition to undertaking core study from my company, ONGC, has also
provided services to other multinational companies working in this part of the world.

• Has upgraded laboratory by introducing GR Logger, Porosity and Permeability at ambient and overburden pressure, a, m n parameter at ambient and OBP, Pore
throat distribution etc.

• Developed methodology for processing and study of unconsolidated core studies. Has
long working association with Core Lab International BV for core studies. Provided
services also to multinational oil companies operating in this part of the world.
