Major Contribution to the growth agenda of the Foods Product Group Category by leading and driving the Manufacturing strategy and implementing the required Innovation programme with the support of a clear supply chain project network development & execution programme. Manufacturing capital was deployed (E25m) to deliver the required capacity and innovation, and a Sourcing Strategy was defined to ensure the most appropriate supply network in the region.
Co-ordinated in 2007 the costs savings program through a range of initiatives in Procurement, Manufacturing and Distribution resulting in E40m savings to maintain the profit of the Category despite the hyper materials costs inflation.

Defined and led the program to build a capable Supply Chain in a challenging environment through the implementation of a program based on the development of an integrated Planning process, Supply Management process optimisation, Distribution re-engineering, Manufacturing reliability and Operations Excellence. Output was a significant contribution to one of the fastest growing Business operation in Africa, above 20% growth every year in the early year 2000s.
Co-ordinate Inter Company Sourcing activities between Unilever Companies in Nigeria, Cote d’Ivoire and Ghana, resulting in the closure of 2 factories saving E3.0m on three years, and the set up in only 3 years of a logistics process involving a shipment of 80 containers of finished goods per week including documentation and road or sea transportation.
Brought to Nigeria a professional Global / International Logistic Service provider, the first to happen in the region resulting in an improvement in product availability at distributors from 60% to 95%.
As the Regional Supply Chain Director for Oral Category for Africa Regional Group, led the Development of a Strategy Into Action plan for the Region, centred around a sourcing arrangement plan and capacity investment program to support growth and a Cost savings programme to support margin improvement resulting in the closure of 3 toothpaste factories in Africa saving E4.5m in 3 years, an improvement in product quality, an improvement of innovation delivery.
