• Act as a Liaison between all staff. From Communicate menu changes to waiter/ waitress, relay to hosts and hostesses any new policy changes regarding how to greet customers, and tell the cooks the special dietary needs of expected guests.
• Responsible for the Paper works such as Inventory, Par Stock, Menu Changes and Store Requisitions.
• Responding to guest reservation thru e- mail, making their invoices, proposal and contract.
• Responsible for the group function in the restaurant. Ensures the seating arrangements are ready for the group, helps guests plan their menu and calculates the charges.
• Checks in the guest regularly, making sure that they are very satisfied with their meal.
• Responsible for the appearance of the restaurant.
• Present Menu to the guest, Take the order and served the food to the guest.
• Responsible for Cashiering.
• Greet guests personally and on the telephone.
• Provide appropriate seating arrangements.
• Ensure the quantity of menus is sufficient to cater to the number of guests.
• Present menus and take orders.
• Deliver orders to the kitchen and ensure all orders are filled in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Set up dining rooms and make reservation arrangements.
• Maintain clean and organized spaces.
• Assist room service when and as needed.
• Manage event related work including setting up tables and maintaining both exterior and interior of the restaurant
• Check identification of customers to make sure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol and tobacco products.
• Mix ingredients according to drink recipes.
• Determine when a customer has had too much alcohol.
• Clean up after customers and clean work area.
• Order and maintain liquor and bar supplies.
• Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.
• Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Order supplies from outside vendors.
• Monitor and maintain an inventory of supplies.
