• Manage of all phases of projects from concept through design, procurement & construction and commercial.
• Conduct the site meetings in relation to project phases and progress stages
• Ensure an appropriate supply chain presence on site to improve production.
• Manage delivery of the all MEP works of all projects and related technical and commercial aspects
• Ensure necessary method statements, quality and safety documentation are developed and approved before start of works.
• Necessary liaison with Quality and Safety departments.
• Manage client relationships from initial project Start through to delivery of the project.
• Ensure all shop drawings produced and submitted for approval on time.
• Manage and coordinate with the projects’ stakeholders including contractors/subcontractors, consultant, regularity authorities and utilities provider for NOC’s & permits.
• Manage the delivery of the project to meet time, cost, quality, safety and sustainability targets, ensuring risk is managed and targets are met.
Controlling MEP Coordination, with a team of Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, Formans, associated Subcontractors & Auto-Cad Drafting team to undertake following activities related to MEP works as Follows:
Undertake a thorough study of Tender Drawing, Specifications & BOQ followed by estimation of the project.
Reviewing IFC (Instruction for construction), EI (Engineering instruction), LS (load schedule) given by the consultant & architects.
Raising RFI (Request for Information) for design discrepancies or missing information upon reviewing of every Engineering Instruction and design documents/material from Consultant & architects.
Getting Shop Drawings prepared by Auto-Cad drafting team in coordination with other MEP & civil works incorporated all the points given in Tender Drawing, IFC & EI by architects & consultants.
Reviewing drawings before execution, Ensuring work accordance with working drawings & specification.
Attending Progress, Coordination & Technical meetings with Client and Consultant & Preparing Schedule of Construction Activities.
Conducting meeting & coordination with all the main contractors, sub contractors & our own company staffs for the faster completion of the project.
Planning & requisition of men & materials as per work program schedule.
Placing Order for various materials for project requirement on respective vendors & managing Material Procurement.
Follow-ups with suppliers for material delivery. Check quality of the materials received at site & approve the same.
Plan work in coordination with civil construction program. Monitoring and Expecting of various activities related to MEP Project.
Allocating work to Project Engineers, Engineers, Supervisors and Foremans.
Supervise all execution activities including providing technical inputs on methodologies & coordination with site management activities and devising methods for work simplification. Monitoring & control the men & materials consumption.
Ensure high productivity & proper usage of assets & machinery. Coordinating with Planner & estimation Team for tracking the schedule & completing the job as per estimation done. Checking the quality of work before consultant inspection.
Raising the work inspection request to check the work by consultant. Do Pre-commissioning test/loop test/functional Tests/SAT.
Attending comments, Non completion notice given by consultant & submitting the same once work completed.
De-snagging of various site works at the time of Handing Over.
Checking the bills of contractor as per site measurement.
Coordination with QS team for quantity Takeoffs and Variation estimation support.
Coordination with Safety officer for ensure safety at site & conducting monthly safety tool box training program for artisans.
Coordinating with QA/QC team for develop and organized records at site like WIR’s, NCN’s, Daily work, work status check list, testing, commissioning reports & quality reports for increased efficiency. Coordinating with Auto-Cad team for preparing as built drawing.
Coordinating with suppliers for preparing O&M Manuals for all Equipment
Playing a major role as MEP Engineer, Handling all Client, Consultant meetings, Material Submittals, Shop drawings preparation, Execution, Testing/Commissioning, Inspection and Handing over.
Responsible for planning all Methodology, Training, Meetings/Approval with Clients/Consultants, coordinating sub-contractors for timely execution.
Responsible for all Local Authorities approval \[well versed with DEWA (Dubai Electricity & Water Authority) & DM (Dubai Municipality)\], handling onsite complaints, co-ordination of all product suppliers for technical requirements.
Responsible for coordinating estimation, design, execution team, Client, Consultant, Main Contractor, Sub-Contractor and Supplier for scheduled progress and timely completion.
Reading and Understanding the documents provided by the Consultant to understand the Scope of work, Standard to be followed and explaining the same to the Team
Preparing the proposals, reviewing the proposals received from MEP Sub‐Contractors.
Coordinating with Design Team for preparation of Shop Drawings, As‐Built Drawings, Tender documents etc.
Submitting Material Approval Request (MAR) and RFI’s to the consultant for Approval and Inspection.
Verifying the measurement and Invoices submitted by the Sub‐Contractors.
Site visits and Site Inspection with the Client/Consultant and Government Authorities
Understanding project specifications and carry out installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of Electrical systems, Low current systems, Water Supply System, Drainage System & Fire Alarm-Fire Fighting System for all types of residential and commercial projects.
To plan, schedule and execute different maintenance (Electrical, Mechanical, Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting) works successfully with the allocated time limit.
Reporting to the senior management regarding Progress of the project, Facing the Obstacles, Suggesting the solution, discussing on the milestones achieved and to be achieved.
LV/HV electrical shop drawing designing and Load schedule preparation
Designing drawings for Industrial, Commercial & Residential Projects.
