 Ensure all staff receives the information with respect to Fire safety, Chemical safety, Radiation safety,
Biohazard safety, First aid training and Mandatory training (Hoist, TDG, Laser, Ladder etc.)
 Accompany staff from the Department of Environmental Health & Safety, Joint Health & Safety Committees,
and external agencies during workplace inspection.
 Assist in the application of safety procedures.
 Report and investigate incidents and accidents and ensures recommended corrective measures are being
implemented to prevent recurrence.
 Develop injury and incident prevention strategies through awareness program with the workforce.
 Monitor local area compliance with safety policy and procedures.
 Help promote OHS awareness.
 Assist and report to senior safety staff with all safety concerns
