Responsibilities:

•Perform evaluations, feasibility studies, sensitivity analysis, and benchmarking on implemented energy and saving measures. Install equipment and collect data to measure and verify energy savings and improvement measures. Coordinate quality control on completed projects.
•Design, assess, and perform measurement and verification studies for various energy projects.
•Perform comprehensive ASHRAE Level 2 Audits to help clients achieve LEED Certification.
•Work on developing energy savings potential studies to determine energy savings opportunities in various different regions in the United States.

Accomplishments:

•Conduct on-site measurement and verification, and perform engineering analysis for commercial and industrial energy-efficiency programs including: Energy Trust of Oregon Production Efficiency Program, Bonneville Power Custom and Lighting Program, Entergy Arkansas Commercial and Industrial Program, and Northern Indiana Public Service Company programs.
•Install sensors and equipment to measure and verify the impact of the energy savings and process improvement measures implemented by thirty clients including gas refinery’s, steel manufacturers, pulp and paper manufacturers, wood processing, etc. Evaluated savings of over $9M annually and incentive payouts of over $4M.
•Coordinated quality control effort for NEEA Industrial Facility Site Assessment study to characterize equipment end use consumption in 120 industrial facilities throughout the Pacific Northwest. IFSA was the first region-wide study of energy use.
•Perform project evaluations improving effectiveness of both engineering studies and impact •Work with clients to explain significant deviations in expected energy and process savings, resulting in improved relationships and better understanding of observations and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and manage day-to-day operations of teams to perform comprehensive energy and process improvement audits at
industrial and commercial facilities, and install equipment and sensors to quantify energy and process savings.
- Author and presented reports highlighting observations and recommendations to senior management and the DOE.
- Train new team members and plant personnel.
- Perform detailed analysis on electrical demand, lighting, HVAC, air compressors, boilers, electric motors, VFDs, process
heating/cooling, steam systems, waste heat recovery systems, and building envelopes.

Accomplishments:

- Supervise and manage day-to-day operations of 30 undergraduate and graduate engineers.
- Lead sub teams to conduct over 85 on-site industrial audits, focused on energy conservation, process improvement, and waste
minimization resulting in energy, process and productivity savings of over $16.5M annually.
- As team leader, the center won its first center of the year award in 2013 ahead of 26 other centers around the United States.
- Increased the number of energy and productivity recommendations per report by 65% to fourteen per assessment.
- Work with client’s senior management and vendors for equipment selection, technical and feasibility analysis, helping to
increase the recommendation implementation rate by 22%.
- Develop compressed air and gas leak detection programs reducing leaks by up to 70% in industrial facilities.
- Created a comprehensive training strategy for new team members and focused on identifying and resolving energy and process related issues, as well as improving plant safety procedures. This led to a 28% increase in team member certification.
- Project manager on several equipment verification projects all of which were delivered on time and under budget. These include:
- “Energy Baseline for Three Miami-Dade (MDC) Government Buildings”: 500 electric circuits in 2M sq/ft of building space.
- “Field monitoring, verification and comparison of three HVAC controllers” at four Burger Kings and Boston Markets.
- “Measurement and Verification of 48 Siemens Smart Meters at MDC Buildings” to ensure correct data reporting of meters.

Responsibilities:

 Supervised on-site construction and participated in installation of Reinforced Thermo Setting Pipe (RTR).
 Ensured correct Saudi Aramco safety and quality guidelines were followed.

Accomplishments:

 Safety and quality standards were met 100 % of time on RTR construction and installation following Saudi Aramco guidelines.
 Designed material control system to assist MAC in organizing and controlling the distribution of construction material. This reduced cost of nails, gloves, safety glasses and boots by 18%.
 Certification through Saudi Aramco and JGC in Confined Space work, Dangerous Chemicals, Working at High Heights.
 Authored and presented a 200 page report on mechanical, civil, structural, safety, quality and managerial activities at the Manifa project site accompanied with issues and recommendations for improvements in above areas.

- Preside over the production in both veneer and sawmill departments.
- Implemented waste minimization techniques to reduce wood waste in the sawmill and veneer departments.
- Ensured production targets were being met.
- Monitor veneer quality and grading.
- Conducted comparative efficiency and yield analysis on input and output of 14 veneer slicers.
- Develop production schedules and duty assignments

- Supervised the powertrain team, dealing with engine selection, engine management, differential, simulation testing and optimization via CAD and CAE software (SolidWorks, Cosmos Design, and ANSYS).
- Participated in hands-on building of the Formula car using CNC’s, lathes, mills etc to build parts.
- Involved in testing and quality control as well as ensuring the race car meets stringent SAE guidelines.
- In charge of full cost analysis (Recording and assigning costs) of the entire Formula SAE car.
- Used ERP and CRM tools to keep track of resources and potential sponsorship.
- Created feasibility studies on race car costing to present to panel of potential investors
