Job description:
Working full time in the different laboratory departments: hematology, biochemistry, serology, bacteriology, parasitology, phlebotomy, blood bank, elisa, and administration. Working on the laboratory information system as an end user.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Performing laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data to support clinical patient care
• Carrying out routine tasks accurately in accordance with standard methodologies and the quality system implemented in the laboratory
• Preparing specimens and samples
• Patient and donor personal information data entry on laboratory and blood bank information systems.
• Results entry and validation on laboratory information system.
• Patient data and results entry on laboratory Information system.
• Laboratory patients data management
• Handling laboratory calls
• Working on the donors database system interconnected with all Lebanese Red Cross blood bank branches
• Patients and donors personal data entry on the system
• Donors results entry on the system
• Checking blood products availability in each branch, documentation, validation, printing of labels and worksheets
• Handling patients and donors issues by phone: document information about the concerned client and complaint on the system and following up on the issue until it is resolved.
