• Provides first aid treatments and medications for employees as needed.
• Records employees’ medical information and assessment.
• Assess employees’ examination result and refer to Medical Physician for further management; monitor recommendations and follow through until employee has fully recovered.
• Conducts regular inventory of medicines and medical supplies.
• Creates health and safety awareness among employees.
• Ensures safety among all employees within the site by providing safety precautions.
• Provides accurate instructions in giving oral medications.
• Refers the employee to hospital for immediate medical treatment as needed.
• Coordinates to Safety Department for minor and major injuries and cases attended.
• Maintains all employees’ medical files and records all data required related to any incident.
Providing First Aid, Emergency and Primary Healthcare.
Managing incidents and triaging casualties.
Implementing and monitoring health protection measures.
Management of processes and healthcare resources.
Controlling stocks of pharmaceutical materials and equipment.
Secure and ensure that the sick employees submit "fit to work" certificate
Interpret and evaluate diagnostic test based on the verification of medical certificates
Monitor absenteeism especially AWOL and conduct visitation at home as needed
Generate medical reimbursement report every month
Weekly First-Aid and PPE inspection.
Weekly Accommodation inspection.
Control disposal of biological hazardous waste.
Conduct portable water sampling
Perform other duties and responsibilities that maybe assign from time to time
Conducting risk assessments and advising on good practice regarding health and safety.
Managing data both electronically and manually.
• Rotated in emergency room and intensive care unit.
• Preparation and administration of medicines (all routes) and monitoring for adverse effects.
• Assists in emergency nursing procedures necessary for prompt control of changes in patient’s physical condition.
• Carrying out doctor’s orders and doing nurse’s notes; relaying laboratory results to attending physician
• Starting and monitoring blood transfusion; Sending specimen to the laboratory and follow up results
• Able to perform the techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.
• Complete Blood Glucose Monitoring; Doing post mortem care; Logging discharged, transferred, and expired patients in the disposition logbook
• Obtaining brief history of patient before referral to intern or resident on duty
• Assisting in procedures such as intravenous line insertion, catheterization, nasogastric tube insertion and feeding; tracheostomy, endotracheal and oral suctioning
• Maintains the patient’s clinical records; assists with execution of the physician’s orders; keeps accurate problem oriented nurses’ notes according to audit committee standards.
• Practices economical use of equipment and supplies, informs proper authority of discrepancies.
