PIPING DESIGNER
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assigned as Piping Designer responsible for the development of given piping partition.
• Carry out offshore & onshore site survey. Produce site survey sketches, P&ID mark-ups and prepares full site survey report with design sketches.
• Conducts pipe layout study prior to site survey.
• Prepares Plot plan, Piping GA drawings, material take-off / bill of material from P&ID’s, valve schedule, tie-in schedule and pipe support drawings.
• Produces and checks complex piping isometrics, sketches in accordance with applicable practices, codes, specifications, procedures and specific contract requirements.
• Activities include 3-D modelling of field sketches using PDS, placing of standard pipe support in compliance to stress analysis.
• Prepares, backdraft and annotation of piping isometrics, G.A.’s and Equipment Layout using Microstation and AutoCAD as design software.
• Attends task force meeting with client.
• Performed tasks given by the Lead Design Engineer.

• Activities included were modelling of field sketches, placing of standard pipe support in compliance to stress analysis, resolving of model comments by the home office, backdraft and annotation of isometrics, squad checking of in-line instruments and vendor drawings of vessels and other equipment, routing of process and utility lines with the approval of the home office.
• Resolve piping clashes with structural, mechanical and other Engineering disciplines.
• Prepares material take-off/bill of material from P&ID's, piping drawings and isometrics.
• Produces piping plans using PDS Drawing Manager and Microstation. 2D.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Involved in site surveys and preparation of Piping Plan, Isometrics and Piping Location Plan and Material Take off using CADD Workstation with the instruction and guidance of an immediate Piping Engineer.
