Managed staffing model, marketing, census, professional development, public relations, education, training implementation and supervision of administrative policies for the agency. Directly managed 40+ employees. Supervised Director of Nursing/Patient Care, admission’s coordinator, volunteer coordinator, and professional liaisons (sales), along with clinical staff on weekend call rotation. Provided Hospice education to Physicians, RN Case Managers, and Social Workers. Performed patient admissions and direct nursing care when appropriate. Re-invented Solari PowerPoint presentations, along with reporting processes for the Houston liaison team. Provided education in clinical settings for medical staff on assessment, patient and family teaching, discharge coordination, spiritual and bereavement. Created and graphically designed new advertising media for Solari, while working with corporate management to ensure all state and federal healthcare regulations were followed. Additionally, worked in the public health sector to provide hospice services in the home and community, including case management, client advocacy, community resource information and assistance with accessing health care.
