Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee day to day operation of the department
• Month and end year reports/processes
• Accounts payable/receivable
• General ledger
• Cash forecasting
• inventory
• Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
• Capital assets reconciliations
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce final reports or statements
• Review, revise and establish proper accounting methods, policies and procedures
• Improve systems and procedure, advice corrective actions
• Meet financial accounting objectives
o Manage Final analysis of Payroll and Management Reports.
o Oversee petty cash movements and manage.
o Prepare & analyze Projected & Actual Cash Flow Statements.
o Manage the Invoice generation Operation & Credit Control
o Ensure reconciliation of all sub ledgers & general ledger is performed on regularly in the department.
o Finalize Trial Balance with supporting schedules.
o Ensure proper maintenance of Asset register is happening and effective fixed assets & inventory control is applied.
o Review the report on Monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements of all bank accounts maintained.
o Liaise with & assist internal & external auditors; implement recommendations if any; take corrective action wherever required.
o Manage to calculate and provide sufficient Provisions for the business & discuss with management and preventive measures necessary to correct if needed.
o Managing Monthly Staff Cost Calculations (payroll, provision for leave salary, gratuity, air passage, labor turnover rate etc.)
o Manage Monthly preparation of reconciliation statements (inter Branch, bank rec, debtors and creditors& related party reconciliations if necessary)
o Managing & supervising Customer List, Credit Forms, Credit Limits, and Contracts.
o Managing Payment to the Suppliers and other Parties
