My job was to wait on customers, take their orders, and to prepare coffee, serve donuts and pastries, and on occasion, ring on the cash register. I would prepare the coffee, make the cream, and stock up on anything we needed to be filled (sugar, milk, etc). Employees took turns cleaning the coffee shop, which included sweeping and mopping the floors, wiping down tables and counters, cleaning bathrooms and emptying garbage bins.
