Working as OPERATION ENGINEER/ SUPERINTENDENT at Delayed Coker, LPG Merox and Coke Handling System complex successfully started up in November 2013.
• Controls and Coordinates day to day functioning of the 120, 000 BPSD DCU complex to achieve desired business targets as per Refinery Planning and Scheduling requirements.

• Review and update specific HIRA & RA for all routine, non routine & shutdown activities - implemented as part of OHSAS-18001:2007 - Risk Analysis Techniques (qualitative & quantitative), Risk Assessment Matrix (Kinney-Fine method).
• Use SAP based E-Permit System to ensure safe & efficient Plant operation.
• Suggest & raise MOC (FCO & PCO) to enhance Plant performance & throughput. Suggest & Execute activities cost effectively.
• Constant improvement of process incident reporting and operating procedure updation using tools like ReSOP & Job Cycle Check.
• Involved in Process Hazard Analysis - HAZOP/’What if’ studies, & Risk assessment of various systems.
• Major Start Up/Shutdown planning - Decontamination plans & procedures/ Shutdown manuals/ RISK assessments for shutdown jobs.
• Special training on Petroleum refining technologies at Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun.
• Conveyed Plant specific presentations at Shell-Reliance 7 days workshop & won appreciations from Shell experts.
