Management of a world leading and reputable product portfolio, utilising marketing tools to maximise sales and margin potential for a £14m part of the business. Promotion after 2 months from Assistant Product Manager to cover maternity leave. Management of market research and statistical analysis for strategic plans. 3, 5, and 10 year strategic plan formulation. Forecasting, pricing and ownership of the marketing communications budget.
o Developed and presented the 5 year new product development strategy which was well received by the board and resulted in the investment of 2 new projects. Positive feedback was received at all levels.
o Successful project management and collaboration with multi-functional teams minimised brand damage and customer dissatisfaction following a major quality and back order issue.
o Lead the collaboration with external clinicians and project teams to define and develop a new product opportunity. The product now actively caters for a substantial and profitable niche market in the Far East.
o Lead specialist for a new product launch and subsequent promotion. 1-to-1 international sales promotion.
o Managed agency liaison for a successful international promotional campaign which included the design of an interactive exhibition stand and themed promotional gifts.
