Main Duties:
Assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations and satisfaction. Responsible to assist in the smooth and efficient running of the Engineering Department in support of all other operating departments.
Operational:
To supervise employees in his section for attendance at work and quality of job performance.
Preparing and implementing of Preventive Maintenance Plan for all hotel facilities.
To ensure that after completion of each job the place of work is left in clean condition, with particular emphasis on guest areas.
To inspect regularly the function and safe operation of all equipment under my jurisdiction.
To control closely the consumption of material by tradesmen of his section.
To report to my superior all deficiencies in equipment operation and defects within the area of my responsibility noted in the course of my duty.
To perform other duties outside the normal routine, if so required, within the scope of the department.
Guiding and issuing assignment to the shift team.
Good understanding of all building HVAC and MEP systems.
Able to use test equipment.
Verification of Technicians workbooks.
Able to operate the room PPM system.
Controls equipment PPM job card assignments.
Responds to all emergencies.
Coaching and training of subordinates.
Complete all shift reports and log entries.
Esure that all the preventative maintenance, work orders and assignments are carried out in a timely and cost effective manner for the whole hotel.
Contributing to guest satisfaction standards by ensuring that technical support services quickly address and where possible anticipate, individual needs.
Ensuring technically competent engineering staffs are part of the team by selecting, training and developing a motivated, well-qualified maintenance team.
Ensuring the effective operation of all the mechanical and electrical systems and equipment by managing a preventative maintenance program.
Line Sustaining Production and Maintenance Engineer; Plans and executes line improvement directions to support manufacturing and production needs. Provides high-level engineering and technical support in manufacturing and production of different kinds of decors made of steel, ceramics, rattans and woods.
Line Sustaining Maintenance Engineer; Supports the whole frontline operations for die bonding and wire bonding process and production for power and non-power packages. Responsible for all equipment and maintenance sustaining function; Provides line status reports for management use, supports all manufacturing requirements.
Mentors and supervises technicians skills-up training & certification; Plans and executes line improvement directions to support manufacturing and production needs. Provides high-level engineering and technical support in manufacturing and production.
