Key Functions and Responsibilities:
• Build market intelligence capabilities within the category management team on key markets, suppliers and solutions to support strategy development purposes.
• Monitoring and analysis of Performance of Purchasing personnel
• Personnel’s training needs analysis preparation, implementation and evaluation
• Promote importance of procurement across the organization and best practice through continuous improvement
• Preparation and development of department's process procedures, procurement policies and contract drafting
• Collaboration with Staff Members for meeting the quality management system and International Standards
• To participate in the Annual Performance Development Review Process and work with the Company's Value for Money’ strategy
Strategic
Creation of weekly production plan schedule and release of job orders based from suggested MRP simulation.
• Coordination with order management team and sales coordinators to resolve sales order schedule conflicts
• Review and finalization with material planners to ensure no stoppage of line due to materials.
• Participate in production capacity planning meeting to get in depth analysis of assembly line capacities, fabrication machine schedules, daily assembly loading schedule, and capacity improvement plans.
• Communicate with process, design, and quality department to resolve gap issues regarding BOM’s, discrete routing, and order special instructions.
• Daily monitoring of production output report and obtain target performance efficiency evaluation to promptly address issues of assembly delay of job orders on schedule.
• Generate weekly report analysis of back job orders and discussed with involved departments regarding root cause of delays and come up to an effective measures to prevent and eliminate occurrence of the problems.
• Participate in warehouse inventory cost reduction programs by providing disposition for non-moving finished good items, customer return materials, factory order change and cancellation, by scrapping, converting, and dismantling.
Special Function:
• Generate production performance status reports for top management.
• Participate in lean improvement, inventory disposition, and cost savings programs
Releasing of job orders to assembly and fabrication lines and monitoring status to ensure customer orders are ready during delivery schedule.
• Generates production daily and weekly plan schedule with total production load cost report
• Create and continually improve work templates for computing material requirements.
• Monitor and Analyze causes of job order backlog and recommended solutions to minimize and eliminate from reoccurrence.
Provides welding and fit up process trainings, and safety standards practices to new workers.
• Close coordination with production planners, quality inspectors for target plan execution
• Reducing workers tack time through effective distribution of workloads among workers.
• Monitoring and continuous evaluation of worker’s skills performance and implements training procedure required

• Ship Assembly Welding Processes - Class A certification
Creates accurate MRP planning and Manufacturing Order Simulation (MOS) procedure using excel spreadsheet to simulate weekly, monthly, and semi-annual material requirement.
• Supplier sourcing for locally purchased materials and services by identifying close range suppliers that provides quality but cheaper materials and reliable services.
• Establishes timely warehouse material issuance scheme to production lines without delay applying both just in time and Kanban system.
• Effective implementation of first in first in first rule to perishable materials.
• Active participation in capacity planning to gain in-depth analysis between material demand and supply and manufacturing order quantity
Reviews material requirements for the weekly planned schedule using TRITON system - MRP and Manufacturing Orders Simulation (MOS tool)
• Actively participates in production planning meetings to discuss issues regarding lacking materials as per the completed production plan schedule.
• Analyzes job order delays concerning material issues and suggest recommendations to solve the problems and prevent from reoccurring.
• Participates in the yearly disposition review of nonmoving components in warehouse.
