Reporting directly to the Project Director - Subsea Division as part of the Project Management Team (PMT). Currently continuing working to integrate Global Industries into Technip process for the conclusion of UBARANA /ATUM projects, Brazil ($180M Petrobras Contract).
Liaise with Engineering, Contract Administration, Procurement, Accounting and Treasury teams to review commitments/actuals and forecast costs, taxes, cash flow, P&L, client invoicing/ payment and change order. Work closely with financial management team Houston and Brazil for achievement of targets and financial objectives.
Directed all Project Risk Management (PRM) processes and activities including planning, identification, qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, risk response planning implementation, monitoring and controlling of uncertain events.
Directed all Project Risk Management (PRM) processes and activities in Latin America reporting directly to the Global Risk Management Director including planning, identification, qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, risk response planning implementation, monitoring and controlling of uncertain events during Bidding Bid’s process and projects execution phases.
• Implemented Risk Management Process in the Latin American region, providing training to 80+ people; and also improved communication between Corporate and Regional levels.
• Conducted Bid Risk Assessment of an $800MM project installation encompassing Brazil and Mexico; the results were discussed and presented to Commercial and Executive Company levels.
Managed all Project Controls activities including oversight of Project Controls team of 6, Project Controls Status Reports preparation and presentation to Corporate level, scheduling, costing and budgeting, risk analysis, financial reporting, change order status, subcontractors claims and back charges, and monitoring Key Project Indicators (KPI’s) performance. Advised Project Manager on cost, schedule trends, opportunities, and risks.
Implemented new project controls processes, best practices, and procedures to execute PRA-1, a Subsea Petrobras contract of $151M; project gross profit achieved 100% of approved budget.
