- Lead the expediting team for timely and accurate precise orders follow up and distribute fairly the tasks between the team.
- Coordinate with the site management and procurement department to push the order of the urgent requested material.
- Follow up on the timely issuance and signature of purchase orders
- Interfere in the quotations final negotiation to achieve the targeted price /delivery
schedule and finalizing the commercial term in coherence with the company
commercial policy.
- Weekly follow up and analysis on supplier and sub-supplier progress reports and performance.
- Keeping close coordination between finance and accounting departments to insure
smooth interaction and release the suppliers dues or deduction if any.
- Control of all purchase contracts placed by the supplier to the sub-supplier in order to ensure they are in line with the project milestones.
- Follow up, coordination and arrange the shipments of the equipment/material
based on the contract incoterms or based on the urgency.
- Follow up with the local agents for the clearance, delivery to site.
- Coordinate with site management and construction teams during installation,
testing and commissioning and follow-up with the supplier or sub-contractors to close the punch list if any till successful hand over.
- Assure close coordination between technical teams, procurement and site
management.
