Handle all safety related issues independently at site, advice and assist the Sr. SRE and Sr. Safety Engineer in the fulfillment of safety obligations.
Inspect worksite daily for any unsafe act or unsafe condition and initiate immediate corrective actions to prevent accident / incident at site and advise Contractor Safety Officers on any safety issues.
Advise Contractor safety to conduct safety related training programs and take corrective actions as required.
Administer the Project Safety Plan with the support of Sr. SRE and Sr. Safety Engineer periodicily review the same with the project execution team to reaffirm its adequacy and conformity to the client / HSE requirement.
Check on contractor Safety Officer/Employees and see if provided Project Specific Orientation / Induction to all employees prior to their deployment to respective tasks.
Review/approve Method statement & Risk Assessments/Job Safety Analysis control on each activity to be carried on site and monitor its effectiveness in terms of performance.
Checking / inspecting the availability of Third Party Competency Certificates for all the Heavy Equipment's and Operators or advising the Contractor PMV/Plant Dept. to arrange for the checking and certification by the third party.
Checking all types of work permits of the approval by concerned Authorities, Contractor Engineer and Safety Department with the attachment of correct drawings and Method Statement/RA/JSA along.
Independently handle all safety related issues at site, advice and assist the Project Manager and Construction Manager in the fulfillment of safety obligations.
Be familiar with the expectations of the client, then advise and assist the Project Management in the fulfilment of its obligations.
Lead the team of safety professionals ensuring best support from top management. Brief the safety officer’s on daily activity.
