1. Oversee installation of electrical systems for substation room and conformance to ADDC regulation, as well as, testing and commissioning until handing over of transformers, capacitor banks, HV and LV switchgear.
2. Attend to ADDC inspections of substation and rectify any comments.
3. Attend to client snags/comments and ensure conformance proper handing over of the shops.
4. Check and verify site installation as per approved drawings and rectify any non-conformance.
5. Coordinate and follow-up with the different trades and contractors for any deviation of works.
6. Prepare as-built drawings.
1. Manage the store and ensure proper storage/handling of MEP material and equipment, as well as, deliveries of materials.
2. Verify material requested and control issuance inorder not to exceed the requirement per building.
3. Ensure updated stock report and forecast requirement to ensure continuous flow of the project.
4. Conduct site visit from time to time to ensure proper storage of materials and removal of unwanted / excess materials at site.
5. Check conformance of delivered material as per project specification and material submittal.
6. Coordinate and follow-up deliveries with procurement and suppliers.
7. Coordinate with site team for required materials and equipment and arrange for order and delivery.
8. Attend to consultant and QA/QC material inspection.
1. Work with the Engineering team at the initial stage of the project and establish conceptual electrical design stage; schematic design, detailed design and construction design: proposed system, design constraints, design standard, and coordination of the design.
• Prepare shop drawing and as-built for power distribution system, lighting and power circuits, fire alarm system, telephone, catv and data communication system, public address and matv system, cctv and access control, emergency power system, earthing and lighting protection system.
• Prepares quantity take-off and material order.
• Review sub-contractor’s drawing, materials submittals, and BOQ’s.
• Attend to consultant and QA/QC during material inspection.
2. Send inquiries and follow-up quotation from suppliers then review and prepare price comparison.
3. Support site work regarding technical details and materials used at site.
4. Coordination with procurement for material delivery, site material requirement, and check delivered materials conformance as per specification
5. Supervise MEP works on DU MDF and IDF rooms.
6. Coordination with site engineers and store for material delivery and control the issuance to site.
7. After completion of design drawings, started Managing the store for proper material handling and storage, material inventory and stock update, monitoring of outgoing and incoming material, and disposal/re-sell of scrap/unwanted materials.
8. Procurement-in-charge during the handing-over stage of the project and ensure material availability at site, source out suppliers, and issue purchase orders.
1. Prepare and implement maintenance plan of the manufacturing plant Electrical systems (such as Genset, LV transformer, PABx, CCTV, Lighting and Power, BMS, CCTV) and Mechanical equipment (Such as HVAC, Pumps, Motors, Fans, Chillers, Air compressors, Boilers, and cooling towers).
2. Provide technical training for the maintenance team.
3. Conduct troubleshooting and repairs of electrical system.
4. Perform testing and commissioning of electrical equipments.
5. Supervise and coordinate MEP works for building expansion projects and equipment installation.
6. Manage tools and spare parts inventory and stock
7. Prepare and update maintenance manuals and safety procedures and ensure proper implementation..
8. Prepare / update documentation for quality system audit such as; ISO, QS, and EMS
