Responsibilities

Ensure timely and successful completion of organization wide comprehensive Information Security Transformation Program to maintain customer trust and bank’s brand and reputation.

Ensure successful delivery of critical projects in information security including
*Info sec Governance and Risk
*Access and Data security frameworks and tools
*Network, Infrastructure and endpoint security enhancement
* Cyber Defence Operations and Threat Intelligence

• Responsible for 60 member team of Technical Account Management, Technical Support Specialist and Field Service Engineering in MENA.
• Plan, assign and supervise the major activities and objectives of the service and support, and regularly measure against the agreed KPIs.
• Lead, motivate, engage and coach midlevel technical professionals
• Played key role in 3 recent mission critical projects, delivering more than 40million cost saving
• Played key role in delivering key service transformation (Service improvement initiatives including reducing implementation lead time, reducing service restoration time .) initiatives which materially improved(year on year 25%) customer satisfaction and retention.
• Implemented clear development plans for the team to deliver bigger results and improve staff retention

• Responsible for building (from zero), Thomson Reuters Technical Implementation Project Management hub in MEA. Built and Managed a team of project Managers with focus on reducing lead times for implementation of projects, quick realization of revenue orders and maintaining high level of Customer Satisfaction,
• Aligned the regional staff wih Thomson Reuters standard processes and tools and on project management and PMP methodologies
• Led projects which optimized the hardware preparation and remote installation of desktops, which saved a lot of cost on engineer and travel time(30% improvement)
• Managed Technical Account management team of bronze customers across MENA

• Responsible for Reuters Technical Services in UAE and Oman. Managing a team of engineers with focus on reducing lead times for implementation of projects, Quick resolution of service failures, maintaining high level of Customer Satisfaction, 24 x 7 support and increasing revenue.
• Technical and escalation contact for 250 customers in Dubai and Oman and maintaining relationship with respective CIO and I.T managers
• Managing financial projects like Reuters Market Data systems treasury solution, Risk management systems, integration of Thomson Reuters data into customers backend systems, migration of existing systems to new platforms and relocation of existing architecture to new premises using Thomson Reuters standards of project management and PMP methodologies
• Contribute as Technical Consultant for Thomson Reuters sales team in proposing solutions to clients especially surrounding Thomson Reuters data integration, risk management systems, Pre and Post sales support
• Conducting monthly service review meetings with focus group customers - Standard Chartered, Citibank, Barclays Capital, HSBC, Deutsche Bank, RBS. Overall resposibilty of managing the Service Delivery and Service Assurance
• Handling vendor/supply management with vendors like BT, DU, Etisalat, Satyam, Sun
• Part of the EMEA project team as a testing and deployment specialist in development of next generation Thomson Reuters flagship product platform called Eikon.
• Hire people to the skill required, Manage & Report metrics of the Employee Performance, People Mgmt - Motivation, Skill Development, Career Development and Service Planning etc . Ability to guide team and achieve the delivery targets
• Reporting to Regional Technical Manager and global project teams on key deliverables
• Transitioning of accounts/projects (On-Boarding / Off boarding of accounts)

· Install and support various Reuters Media and Financial Information Delivery Systems (Hardware/software/network) at client sites to make the high quality real-time data available. (200+ Servers 500+Desktops)
· Design and Implementation of Reuters Network in client sites and integrate it with client's LAN and other client systems.
· Preparation of technical documentation for all installations for Day 2 support
· Timely assistance in installation /maintenance/operation of networking and data communication systems in Reuters Riyadh Data Centre

· Install, Troubleshoot, Upgrade and Maintain various hardware and software for Media and Financial information systems installed by Reuters in client sites.
· Manage the various Networking and Data communication systems in the Reuters Gulf Data Communication Centre located in Dubai office

· Department-wide Hardware and software support for the Application developers and developers in Urban Planning Department in Ministry of Municipal Affairs.
· Administer and maintain the LAN and WAN of the department and support more than 100 users of sophisticated GIS and Database tools

 Teach undergraduate students in the dept., various subjects in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
 Guide them for doing mini-projects in their respective fields.
