Brief description of duties and responsibilities: -

1. Claims and Arbitration

• Negotiation and correspondence on Force Majeure, disputes and claims.
• Preparation of documents, correspondences, Statement of Facts etc. to support disputes / arbitration and claims.
• Compilation of historical data and lessons learnt to estimation sections of previous projects.
• To ensure that all NPCC procedures are applied in day to day activities as intended.
• Assisting in preparation of facts for insurance claims, negotiations with loss adjuster and agreements.

2. Project Administration

• Measurement of Quantity of work performed and preparation of payment variations for invoicing.
• Monitoring of project budget and preparation of Management information reports such as forecast revenue, lessons learnt & highlights of the project.
• Monitoring of reimbursable services provided to client for invoicing.
• Review, assist and advise Project Manager on contractual issues and disputes.

3. Contract / Subcontract Management

• Verification of quantum of work, rates and prices, bonds, deduction, retention, scope reduction, attending meetings and MOM etc.
• Preparation of additional expenditure budget to obtain Management approval and issue Variation Order.

4. Supplier Management

• Verification of quantum of material supplied, PO amendments, guarantees, waivers. Calculation of Liquidated damages for late delivery.

EPC for Bab Thamama "G" and Habshan 2, 1.8MMBOPD, Phase 1 Development

(a) 52 wells oil producers (b) 4 Remote Degassing Stations (c) Water Injection Clusters (d) New utilities (Fuel Gas, Instrument Air, Nitrogen Generation, Chemical Injection, process and closed drain system in BAB Centroal Degassing Station - BCDS) . HP and LP Flares. New Vapor Recovery Unit (VRU) in BCDS. CP system for new buried pipelines. (e) FOC to link between CDS and each RDS. (f) Pipeline of various size and length total to appox 680 KM, (g) total 130 tie-ins)

Activity involved in preparing variation / claims related to following:
- Wash water wells cabling due to relocation of 12 wash water wells (Scheme 1, 4 core - US$ 970K & Scheme 2, 3 & 4 core - US$ 1M)
Study the change in well location, obtain the regised applicable scheme for cabling & electrical works for Engineering, establish changes in any other system due to this change, quantify original scope and revised scope and carry out costing to prepare a variation proposal.

- Piperack adequacy check - MS1 - modifications / supplementing (US$ 500K)
Quantify the strengthening reqired, quantify change in scope, and carry out costing to prepare a variation proposa.

MOQ, Al Shaheen field development
Client: MAERSK - EPC Contract - Contract value: US$ 895 Million

ED process platform (14, 021 MT), ED-EA bridge, GA Wellhead platform (4, 176 MT), GB Flare platform and bridges (150 MT), GD Integrated Wellhead & Process platform (10, 250 MT), Three interconnecting bridges at the G location, tie-in of the ED platform process and utility systems to the existing E location platforms.

Involved in preparation of variation / claims related to following:
- ED Platform Stock Tank compressor, repair, installation, hook-up, commissioning and successful 72 hour performance testing (US$ 997, 934.53)
- Fabrication of slug catcher spools for GA platform (US$ 54K)
- Growth claim GD & ED, 30% increase in weight (US$ 110 M)

SWP-2 (3815 ton topside), SLQ Living Quarters (593 ton jacket + 1534 ton topside), SPP-1 (1265 ton jacket + 8995 ton topsides), SPP-2 (760 ton jacket + 3815 ton topsides), Bridge links: SLQ to SPP-2, SWP-1 to SPP-1, SPP-1 to SPP-2 (136, 458, 419 ton), 16" pipeline from SWP-2 to SSP-1, and sub-sea cable (4 km), Nowrooz Well-head / Production Platform 2 (NPP-2) substructure and topsides (620 ton jacket + 3815 ton topside), NLQ (1243 ton jacket + 1293 ton topsides), NWP-1 (1101 ton topsides), Bridge link NLQ to NPP-2 (210 ton), 18" pipeline from NWP-1 to NPP-2, and sub-sea cable (7 km), 22" pipeline from NPP-2 to SPP-2 and riser tie-ins (50 km), Connection of pipeline from SPP-1 to Floating Storage Unit (FSU) via riser on SPP-1.

- Settlement Agreement and Resolution of disputes with JV partner Technip (US$ 2.1M)
- JV between NPCC and NSQ was established in order to satisfy the Iranian Content requirement. Fabrication of structures was done in Iran except SPP-1.
- Insurance Claim. Introduction of seawater into the SPP2 / SPP1 first and second stage SS cladded separators and the other equipments of the facilities (US$ 7M)
