Human Resources
• Supervised a team in the Human Assets and Administration Department in UAE, ensuring efficiency in serving the needs and requirements of the members of the organization by allocating resources according to priority.
• Coordinate all stages of the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing and screening of CVs, conducting initial interviews and oversees on-boarding procedures
• Address employee conflicts and complete investigation as required. Work closely with the management to administer disciplinary action and/or recommend corrective measures in compliance with the organizations policies and procedures while adhering to the UAE Labour Law
• Attends to labour disputes with the management’s guidance at the Ministry of Labour/Free Zone Authority and recommends solutions to close the matter within the time frame
• Work closely with the Training Department, identify training needs, schedule in-house Employee Development Program trainings and drive the Department’s initiatives across the UAE operations.
• Manages employee benefit plans including health insurance, employee discounts, rewards and recognition program for sales staffs and prepares annual budget for employee social activities
• Oversees eligibility procedures, notice requirements, leave applications, family status benefits and other employee requests
• Conducts annual employee “Opinion Survey”, analyze the data, compile a report and present to the management to discuss and recommend action plans
• Monitor performance and productivity of team members by ensuring annual performance review is conducted and areas of improvement, if need be, are addressed and discussed.
• Performs weekly store/location visits and conducts audits to ensure legal and policy compliance
• Ensure that the Department stays current with the rules and regulations of the UAE government on visa procedures and fees, keeps update on the existing labour laws.
• Submits Department’s monthly productivity and activity report to the Head Office

Administration and Operations
• Mediate between the management, legal department and third parties on Leasing Offers, Lease Agreement execution, renewals and/or cancellations
• Keeps track of the changes in the agreements and ensure that information is cascaded to the concerned
• Manages the data base for lease agreements, tenancy contracts, trade licenses, third party service provider contracts and all other legal documents
• Closely monitor renewals of legal requirements and initiate processing with the concerned Departments
• Actively participates in operations and management meetings
• Drafts memos/circular as and when required
