Prepare Method Statement for Spillway and Intake Approach Channel by Control Blasting Techniques.
Design blast pattern and initiation sequence for production and control blasting.
Suggest standard techniques for riprap extraction by blasting.
Involved in site Management and Geotechnical operations including Drilling and Blasting of Pressure Tunnel & Surge Shaft, Ground improvement Activities (Consolidation and Curtain Grouting of Dam Foundation and Tunnel Structures); Underground Support System and Ventilation Systems and all concerned activities; such as Site Planning, daily and monthly target planning, scheduling and implementation.
Create AutoCad template Drawings for Site testing procedure and reports. Retrieve and edit AutoCad Drawings for Site specifications.
Assist in project documentation including technical reports, method statements, and proposals, Desk studies and progress reports.
Perform logging and sampling of Drill holes and Trenches; conduct Geological, Structural mapping Tunnel & Shaft Face and Wall Mapping.
Conduct Rock Permeability Test (lugeon Test) and Soil Constant Head Test.
Handle the tasks of guiding project staff regarding the required procedures in developing the project and suitability of the materials to be used.
Supervise Pressure Tunnel & Surge Shaft Invert concrete Lining Crown Concrete Lining.
Classify rock encounter in Tunnel & Shaft through standard method and suggest support measurements accordingly, Examine soil and rock to determine the safest, highest quality and cost-effective structures for the project.
Prepare Report of Tunnel & Shaft Support such as summary Rock bolt/Dowels, summary Drain holes and shotcrete, prepare daily request Blasting request, Shotcreting request and Support work Request.
Support mechanical and procurement department with determining choice of equipment required for Underground and Testing works
Responsible for Overall site management and planning including Site execution and documentation.
Supervised Geotechnical Drilling, Down hole Core Logging, Sampling, labeling and transportation.
Developed Geological and Discontinuity Survey Maps
Conduct Rock Permeability Test (lugeon Test); Constant Head Test and Variable Head Test, SPT, CPT and Undisturbed Sampling (UDS Denison, Pitcher, Shellby).
Collect Field Data and produce geological engineering reports.
