Deputed on the QRIP (Qatar Rail Integrated Package) Gold Line Under Ground Project, awarded in February 2014 to a Joint Venture of Aktor (Greece), L&T (India), Yapi Merkezi (Turkey), STFA (Turkey) and Al Jaber Engineering (Qatar). It is the longest of the lines awarded by Qatar Rail to various consortiums with 33km of UG/At Grade line, 10 state of the art Stations and all related works.
• Experienced in quickly scaling up operations / manpower as per the need of the project, including conducting recruitment drives, local & overseas recruitment, sourcing through different media & via social networking.
• Responsible for Sourcing, Recruitment, Selection, Negotiations & closing of staff (all levels & categories like Engineers, QA QC Personnel, MEP Construction & Design Personnel, Architectural & Structural Personnel, Logistics & Plant Personnel) and workers (volume hiring).
• Driving the Recruitment Process and achieved an average of 85 staff recruitments per month to bring the total recruitments to 900 staff in the first 11 months of ramp up.
• Conducted drives for bulk recruitment of blue collar workers amounting to 2000 workers in 12 months from India, Nepal, Africa, Thailand, Philippines, Bangladesh.
