Duties and Responsibilities
• Coordinate of all inbound and outbound international freight.
• Coordinating with Customs Broker (aside from our accredited broker) about procedure in handling transshipment. Monitors and analyzes performance of suppliers.
• Preparation of Price Comparison.
• Checks all Receiving report, Requisition & Issuance slip, Return to Inventory and Return to Vendor.
• Implements the Approved Purchasing and Logistics Process Flow & Procedure.
• Prepare and check PO
• Coordinates & Monitor the delivery status in order to expedite the release of incoming shipments
• Handling general inquiries professionally (internally and externally) over the phone, in person, or through email.
• Prioritize and complete work according to client’s needs, customs requirements, and standards.
• Accurate and timely customs processing for various types of shipments.
• Communicate with carriers, customers, and /or other government agencies for missing information or required documents customs invoices, and any other declarations required by the import regulations of the destination country.
• Attending to all issues that concerns in Purchasing and Logistics Department with regards to suppliers, service providers, and clients.
• Monitoring of shipment and securing all government required.
• Represents the company to government agencies related to Import/ export concerns.
• Checks billing invoice from suppliers & forwarders based on the agreed quotation prior to submission to accounting.
• Coordinates with Finance & Accounting Dept. with regards to payment problems encountered by suppliers
• Ensures completeness, accuracy and promptness of information / documentation / reports for Purchasing.
