Job Profile

• Handling inhouse enquiries for Generators and Material handling equipments.
• Cold calls to existing customers to get feedback and to know if any requirements for their upcoming projects, also cold calls for new business development.
• Arrange meetings with the concerned personnel in charge of procurement to check requirements and enhance customer service experience. Walk in Visits to logistics companies to check if any requirements for material handling equipments.
• Presenting quotes as per the requirements from customer based on market value to win orders.
• Coordinating with customer and our logistics team for delivery of equipment.
• Performing comprehensive market research on our selling products to be more competitive.
• In connection with our accounts team, follow up with customers for payments.
• Sending introductory email to prospect customers.

Proper handling of incoming technical enquiries from prime shipping companies, ship owners, ship managers and directly from vessels and enhancing communications.
• Strategically framing and presenting quotes/tenders as per the requirement of vessel on the basis of minimum selling price and landed cost.
• Short listing suppliers from the market for non-stock items, obtaining and review competitive quotes from potential suppliers.
• Negotiating on final product costing and processing the best of supplier quotes with an emphasis on quality products.
• Processing orders by procuring the items from the local market and mobilize the stores ready for delivery prior arrival of the vessel in coordination with our logistics team and port offices.
• Monitoring and controlling the stores till it reaches onboard vessel.
• Confront if any complaints arises from the vessel while checking the stores onboard, which has to be to be investigated and adopt proactive, action to resolve swiftly.
• Tracking, controlling high priority ship spares sending from different parts of the world via Sea, Air Shipment and informing status to the customer accordingly.
• Consolidating the spares and making necessary arrangements to send the same onboard vessel safely within provided time frame.
• Coordinating with all the port offices in UAE, Shipping Agents, Boarding Representatives to ensure effective control and operations in all the areas.
• Maximizing every sales opportunity by promoting the highest standards of customer care and recognizing potential development in the required areas.
• Reviewing, evaluating, measuring the monthly sales to ensure the target is met, and strive to increase highest level of success rates.
