and my responsibilities included:
•Ensure that construction activities are being performed as per approved work notifications, Method Statement and Risk Assessments.
•Organizing meetings to carryout risk assessment, job safety analysis and environmental assessment for site activities.
•Coordinate with client and consultant and conduct safety walks on the project for improvements.
•Assisting HSE Manager for updating and developing HSE policies and HSE plans.
•Study any special execution activities at site and prepare task specific safety plan to prevent injuries to people and damages to property.
•Review and Approve permit to work system.
•Issue, follow up and conclude Improvement Notices within defined deadlines.
•Conduct safety audits and submit reports maintaining the defined HSE protocols of company project.
•Conduct, Organize and Planning the Health and Safety Trainings.(i.e. TBT & Inductions)
•Conduct investigations of accidents/incidents/Near-misses and Danger Occurrences, prepare the report and briefing the management for revising plans to avoid reoccurrences.
•Organizing, Conducting and scheduling Safety meetings; prepare the minutes of meetings and follow up on actions decided.
•Arrange to provide training to employees on various topics related to site HSE issues.
•Ensure that first aid facility, firefighting appliances and other such devices are maintained,
•Organize Emergency Evacuation Drills as per HSE plan. Prepare the report for submission to mall management.
•Ensuring the Power Tools, Mobile Plants, Fire Fighting Appliances, Ladders, Hand tools and all construction related equipment and machines are inspected and maintained.
•Prepare MSDS register for all hazardous materials and train personnel for its safe handling, and storage.
•Prepare daily, weekly and monthly HSE statistics reports, analyze and initiate corrective and preventive measures.
•Conceptualizing & implementing detailed project execution plans outlays.
•Establishing time span of project execution.
•Monitoring project status during the course of periodic project review meetings.
•Managing all Rollout activities including providing technical inputs for methodologies of coordination.
•Coordinate with Collocated partners, Vendors and monitor their performance in view of project schedule.
•Ensure effective management and discipline to ensure safe execution of the project.
•Implementing QA/ QC procedures, Total Quality Management principles and checks.
•Conducting audits to ensure adherence to quality norms across the entire course of Project rollout.
•Networking with Collocated partners to develop SOP for Site Access & Operations.
•Manage all site activities including providing technical inputs for methodologies of Fabrication, Erection, installation and commissioning of Equipment & Systems.
•Leading, mentoring & monitoring the performance of the team to ensure efficiency in process operations & meeting of individual & group targets.
•Reporting to Back Head regarding daily scheduled operations Status and man power problems
• Manage the Safety Team at all workplaces. Assign role and responsibilities to safety individual team.
• Coordinate with HSE and Execution on all company projects.
• Manage security personals on all company projects, and coordinate with site safety officers for their evolution and performance.
• Implement, monitor and review the HSE plan of all company projects.
• Prepare risk assessment and environmental assessment for site activities, products and services.
• Support each department to ensure the effective delivery of the project, within the required health, safety and quality requirements
• Collaborate with O&M team and front-line supervision in promoting environmental, health and safety concerns.
• Ensure that safe working procedures are in place for enforcement of safety rules on day to day activities.
• Conduct safety audits and submit reports maintaining the defined HSE protocols of all company activities.
• Conduct/ ensure Tool Box Talks and maintain records.
• Conduct investigations of accidents and/ or incidents and submit reports to Section Heads / Head QHSE.
• Co-ordinate with Management and for scheduling Safety meetings, prepare the minutes of meetings and follow up on actions decided.
• Arrange to provide training to employees on various topics related with workplace safety.
• Ensure that first aid facility, fire extinguishers and other such devices are maintained, updated and validated according to standards. Maintain records of the same.
• Conduct emergency response drills and maintain records.
• Ensure preventive maintenance of all lifting gears, mobile plants and other vehicles possess valid legal documents and test certificates as per the requirement.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly HSE statistics reports, analyze and initiate corrective and preventive measures and maintain records.
