lines and international forwarders. I act also as a head of customer service department dealing also with export and import clearance and documentation and relations with Finnish customs officials. Achievements during 2003 - 2010 as Marketing and Customer Service Manager: increase of turnover by 50% and increase of handled volume in tonnes by 50% without increase of staff significantly turning the business well profitable. Dubai Regional Logistics Unit provides the logistics
services for Federation and National Societies within the Europe, Middle East, Central Asia and Africa area. Main tasks are mobilisation of donations, preparing estimates, despatching of relief items from stocks, tracking deliveries, stock reporting & planning and training in this geographical area. In addition to that I supervise and control Federation regional warehouses in Dubai, UAE and Las Palmas, Canary Islands. Position requires frequent travel in the region, mainly in Africa.
