Provided NDT consultancy services to National Electricity Corporation (NEC) of Sudan in establishing an NDT department. Carried out a plant survey of various equipment and recommended maintenance
procedures and practical training programme for NEC Engineers to carryout inspections in-house using
Ultrasonics, Liquid Penetrant and Magnetic Particle inspection methods.
NDT Level 3 in Magnetic Particle Testing, ASNT NDT Level 2 in Ultrasonics, Magnetic Particle and
Liquid Penetrant methods. Highly experienced and competent in practical work using Ultrasonics,
Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant and Visual Inspection methods, equipment set up, selection of methods and techniques, interpretation of codes, standards and specifications. Welding inspection of
fabrications on settling, wash and storage tanks for the new leach plant project at Mopani Copper Mines
Plc, Nkana Mine, Kitwe, Zambia using the Liquid Penetrant (root examination), Magnetic Particle and

Provide day to day liaison with client's management and maintenance personnel to ensure
that proper channels of communication are maintained in order to ensure that the required work scope is
addressed in a timely and proper manner. Coordinating and directing both equipment and manpower resources to ensure the provision of an effective and efficient service. Ensuring that all company personnel are fully
conversant with the level of service to be provided including familiarity with and the promotion of all safety
practices and routines dictated by the Company or the Client. Ensure that all NDT equipment, testing
procedures and techniques used are suitable for and are capable of producing the required test data. Carry out the required calibration checks in accordance with the requirements of test procedures and to compile timely and accurate records which confirm the satisfactory operation of the combination of instruments and accessories. Interpret test data in accordance with the established acceptance criteria and the compiling of
timely and accurate test reports which clearly confirm the test findings and which provide
sufficient information to allow the duplication of the test. Provide consultancy services in NDT and training in

Ultramag and carry out site visits in order to recommend the appropriate inspection method in order to achieve the desired results.
I have wide industrial experience in a local Petroleum refinery, (Indeni Petroleum Refinery), Ultrasonic weld
inspection, Ultrasonic thickness testing, lamination check and Magnetic Particle inspection on plates, boiler
tubes and pipelines and Quality Assurance audits on fabrication works. Other plant environments include
Mining, Cement, Hydro Power Station, and Sugar Industry.

(ZCCM) divisions. Studied information and literature on NDT developments world wide
keeping abreast with advancements in testing methods and equipment. Supervised
workshop staff and maintained good stock of consumables, safety attire, ensured
equipment was in good working order. Communicated results of all work done to the
Section Leader and clients immediately upon completion of test work. Produced monthly
reports on all work done.
Presented familiarization talks on the benefits, importance and application of NDT to clients in industries.
Skills Computer literate, conversant with lotus, microsoft excel, word perfect, corel word perfect, corel draw and microsoft word applications. Familiar with Vibration Analysis, Laser Alignment, Oil Analysis and
