Lead the Windows Store Ecosystem Mobile Payment business establishing partnership opportunities on the (ECommerce Platform) and cloud services with Telecom Carriers and content providers. created new revenue streams via Digital Payment solutions and content/data Bundling. Successfully partnered with 90% of Middle East telecoms (Etisalat, STC, Mobily, Ooredoos) LIVE with Microsoft services selling apps and SaaS through mobile payment

• Identify and develop strategic partnerships with main Telecoms, Content Providers and Payment Platform providers in the region on the Windows Platform and App Store
• Negotiate business opportunities, and lead complex contract discussions to closure while coordinating with legal and sales support. Articulated and won strong strategic long term deals for Microsoft in the areas of Mobile Billing, Office365 Syndication and other cloud services
• Initiate Customer Success initiatives with focus on showcasing value of Microsoft partnerships and insure investments and contract renewals by major opcos signed
• Drive Market studies on the African Markets with focus on Taxation, Withholding, treasury and implications on payouts and revenue sharing agreements

• Own the Lifecycle activities on established Carrier billing connections, insuring partners continuously follow the agreed reconciliation process and payout schedules

• Work with legal and tax to articulate new Agreement drafts. Lead agreement discussions and response strategy to insure partnership establishment and contract signature
• Coordinate marketing and PR activities ensuring a concrete agreed plan, creative, and communication strategy on GOLIVE and lifecycle of the service launched

Managed a team of project managers focused on the presales and deployment of value added services (VAS) with telecom operators. Managed to deploy Digital Payment solutions, location based services, and NFC solutions across different projects with b2b partners. Positioned the Nokia Store as a trend setter in the Digital Payment space through signing and launching Digital Payment services, and unlocking the “micro-payment” potential in growth regions such as India, Pakistan, Egypt, Kenya, and Morocco

• renegotiated the revenue shares and commercial framework with existing partners to ensure a win-win deals. Was able to lower revenue share offered to Telecoms by 50%
• Introduce and present new Devices and Nokia Services to operators iterating value in co-sell and adoption of platform
• Coordinated with technical teams on technical requirements and Project plan critical path. Unlocked mobile direct billing to non-data users by resolving MSISDN identity over WIFI
• Managed Accounts of third party System Integrator vendors insuring agreed solutions are delivered while cost is correctly managed. Successfully on-boarded new SI vendors : Furtomo, Bango, FCC
• Agree with Telecom Carriers on the settlement and support process (revenue and payment cycle reconciliation and refunds)
• Work with digital marketing teams on in-app/in-store marketing opportunities and provided new monetization opportunities for app developers. Etisalat and du both launched their app store within Nokia’s ecosystem

Handled the deployment and platform management of Nokia Music’s E-commerce platform in MEA (currently branded as MixRadio). My work focused on implementing content ingestion, web merchandising, and web interface development to ensure seamless UX for Nokia Music users. Successfully launched the Nokia Music web service in UAE, Saudi, Egypt, and Jordan, hence, creating new revenue streams for Nokia via music sales and device/service bundling. Achieved 5$ Revenue per device sold via bundling unlimited music streaming with selected smartphones

 Developed Nokia Music Arabic website via the creation of language relevant UI and the ingestion of Arabic content and artworks. Redeveloped all web templates to match Arabic text alignment
 Continuously performed usability testing by engaging with UX focus groups to verify ease of use and user preferences. Ensured that feature visibility rate is 96% and download success is 99%
 Created weekly dashboards and matrices against user trends and top selling content. Implemented “bought media” digital marketing campaigns via Google Ads, SEM and Facebook Ads. Monitored trends and prioritized content and genres accordingly
 Programmed HTML Landing Pages, funnel websites, and Facebook Pages and groups. Reached 200K followers milestone within 1.5 years of service introduction
 Developed the Nokia Music Newsletter layout and merchandising tool using Java. Ensured that SEO measures are implemented improving web ranking against certain keywords and artist names
