IMS Health-UK is basically a pharmacy data processing and providing genuine and accurate decision making capability to its clients around Europe
Worked for Falcon OLAP Cube production system conventionally written in Oracle, PL/SQL, and D2K to generate the OLAP cubes for IMS - Pharmacy/Sales territory related data.
Wrote Loader/Converter module to convert by means of Star schema as splitting the data by dimensions such as GEOGRAPHY, MEASURES, PRODUCT, PERIOD and FACTS by means of data marts especially usable for the concerned pharmacy client in a natural and well-understood way to organize multidimensional data in relational database.
• Worked as Cognizant's consultant IMS Health - London Office, involved in Falcon Cube production application's new modules analysis, requirements collection, data model, Logical and physical database design, Forms (Screen) development and coding, PL/SQL coding and production support.
• Had very good exposures to Production support, problem finding and bug fixing, learned a solid knowledge about MS OLAP multi-dimensional cubes generation.

Retek - This is basically a Retail Product used by British Home stores in UK. It is supported by CSC-UK and it involved various modules like Contracts, Purchase orders, Items creation, Admin and many more as per the retail Line of Business.
• Involved in ORACLE - DEVEOPER 2000 FORMS screen design, Construction, Reviews, Technical assistance to the team in "OPTION SETUP" Project.
• Worked as team player and involved in the bug fixing, application's enhancement activities, PLSQL and Forms coding and application tuning and prepared MIS reports.

Work has been assigned to evaluate the existing database objects and its metadata models such as its logical data model, Function hierarchy diagram, business process models and the data flow model in their new Oracle 8i database. Metadata has been migrated from Oracle Designer 6.0 version to 6i.

4. Worked as Software Associate for IMS- Health, UK - XPONENT system from Cognizant Technology Solutions - Chennai, INDIA.
XPONENT is a new Pan-European Pharmacy data processing system. It is built to support doctor-linked prescription reporting business for all IMS - European countries. All data necessary for the required evaluations are collected from front-end systems and processed through the application to get the desired results. To enrich this general definition, an open data warehouse data model is provided as the centre of the application.
• The key role of this project involved in writing batch processes (PL/SQL packages), Module tuning and SQL statements tuning for the major modules such as doctor-linked, dispensed-product, prescription data and aggregated doctor information.

5. Worked as Software Associate for AC Nielson- Greece - House Hold Processing System from Cognizant Technology Solutions - Chennai, INDIA.
HHP System was reengineered from IBM-Mainframe to ORACLE 7.3, Visual FoxPro 5.0, AIX - UNIX- based solution for the following reasons:- 1. To provide a truly Client/Server architecture, 2. To enable processing of multiple clients /periods at the same time by enabling ORACLE Parallel Server option, 3. Enhance the efficiency of the existing system in certain critical areas identified by AC Nielsen Italy & Greece, 4.To provide flexibility in period processing, 5.To Standardize on the interface available between the different modules of the HHP system and adopting the Standard European Coding conventions.
• Involved in Logical Database Design, Physical Database Design, ORACLE Database designs, Instance set-up, instance tuning, Coding & Tuning of PL/SQL stored procedures, Database Administration & Support, Database related activities through out the development cycle and Software Configuration Management - Co-coordinator
6. Worked as Software Associate for AC Nielson- Italy - Trade*MIS System from Cognizant Technology Solutions - Chennai, INDIA.
Trade*MIS was developed to enable the Client Trade division business of AC Nielson Research media to meet the evolving needs of their customers rapidly, supporting a wide range of high quality business information. The project involved re-engineering the Consolidation Engine segment of the Trade*MIS system from SAS to C-codes and to improve performance of the system.
• Involved as Application DBA, created conceptual, Logical data model using ERWIN data model tool.
• Created physical database Design, DDL scripts.
• Involved in extensive PL/SQL coding and performance tuning.
• Involved in SQL tuning, & Support for Database related activities through out the development cycle.
