Currently working as Senior Resident Engineer for 2 packages since May 2017 looking after Project Management of Civil, Architectural and MEP works and as T&C Manager responsible for the T&C of all the port packages.

As MEP Manager earlier in Program Management Consultant (PMC) Team of New Doha Port Project (NDPP), Qatar, extensive coordination with Electrical/Mechanical/Extra low voltage Engineers of the NDPP Technical Team and the Electrical/Mechanical Assistant Resident Engineers (ARE) of Construction Management Team (CMT) for reviews of a large number of MEP documents and drawings to provide well-coordinated Contractor submittal Review comments, Liaison with Engineering Design Consultants to respond to a majority of vast number of MEP related Requests for Information (RFI) within Contract review period of 21 days, organize/chair with utmost persistence weekly MEP Technical and Procurement Meetings (4 Nos) and a large number of Technical workshops for both packages to effectively pursue all MEP long lead equipment ordering/manufacturing successfully, prepare robust Minutes of meetings (MOM) on ePM (Proliance) of the weekly MEP Technical and Procurement meetings and Technical workshops, initiate proactively and sent a number of letters to Contractors of both packages to support NPP/PMC in defense against any probable contractor claims for delays in Construction progress and long lead MEP equipment ordering, support AECOM responses to a number MEP related Contractor Claims effectively, maintain excellent relationship with the Client (NDPP) Engineers by way of day to day communication and meetings to resolve the MEP related issues/problems to Client satisfaction, effectively contribute to ordering of long lead critical MEP equipment as per the project schedule, organize/chair Testing and commissioning biweekly meetings to enable the Contractor to develop MEP Testing and commissioning documents and carry out T& C activities effectively, facilitate MEP interface meetings through AECOM Interface Manger with other package Contractors in NDPP to achieve optimum rate of progress, monitor the quality effectively for the MEP construction works at site through initiating a number of Advance notifications and SQORs, monitor successfully the quality of all major Equipment/Products by arranging witness of Factory Acceptance Tests by AECOM/NDPP/MAWANI at the manufacturers’ facilities.

As Senior Building Services Engineer in Major Capital Projects department for execution of Ras laffan Port Expansion project Berths and Port Infrastructure for one of the largest Ports in the world for export of LNG, LPG, Naphtha, Sulphur, Container yard ETC. Focal Point and responsible for Architectural and Building Mechanical services (HVAC, Plumbing/Drainage, Lifts, EOT Cranes) as Client Engineer.

Involved actively right from FEED (Front End Engg. Design) for Phase I in finalising conceptual design for 106 Buildings comprising Industrial such as Substations, Control Building of Large Tanker Berths, Workshops, Large Gate house facilities, Administrative, Office and Medical facilities, Specifications for Architectural and Building services, Scope of work, Tender documents etc.

Participated in Prequalification, Bid evaluations, Tender clarification meetings, finalisation of EPIC (Engineering, Procurement, Installation & commissioning) Contractor for Phase I.

Reviewed and approved Calculations, detail Engineering, Specifications, Reports, Technical Bid analysis, Material approval requests, Method statements, Technical submittals, Vendor documentation, witnessed FAT for large equipment, involved in finalising pre commissioning punch lists and contributed in large achieving of Project Mile stones for Buildings and Building services during EPIC Phase I of the Project.
