In addition to the Basic responsibilities of junior PPE :
- Drive and lead cost saving projects
- Create and review local work instructions
- Implementation of lessons learned, best practice and sharing this information within Leoni PPE
network.
- Ensure all processes within area of responsibility are according to automotive standard (IATF16949) and safety standard (ISO 14001)
- Provide support in escalation topics from project/quality complains.
- Define and perform training sessions for sub ordinates in order to improve skills and performance level of the team.
- Ensure all required tools, equipment and software are available for sub ordinates.
- Order and monitor the status of ordered equipment and take the necessary actions.
- Lead and co ordinate commissioning of new production equipment and process start up.
- Provide technical support for new technologies and/or processes within area of responsibility
- Monitor adherence to the plan of equipment commissioning.
- Monitor the validation of equipment configuration sent for quality approval.
- Perform training to relevant personnel on correct and safe operating methods for production equipment.
- Improve process technologies to reduce scrap and increase OEE.
- Implementation of standard working place.
- Determination of short term solutions as alternatives for movement of processes on different tools and equipment.
- Identification of root causes of process disturbances/restrictions and working on solutions
- Support in planning of investment budget for production equipment and PPE tools.
- Support non production purchasing in supplier negotiations.
- Support in development and improvement of PPE related procedures.
- Prepare regular reports for relevant PPE team leader.
