QDVC (Qatari Diar and Vinci Construction Grand Projets)-Doha-Qatar.
Orbital Highway contract 2 (NOH2)
The NOH&TR P023 Construction Contract 2 connects the northern parts of Qatar to the southern parts. The proposed highway comprises the dual carriageway Orbital Highway (Five lanes for light vehicles and two for Trucks). It intersects with North Road at Junction 1 (J1), Al Gharrafa Expressway at Junction 2 (J2), Celebration Road at Junction 3 (J3), a local road at Al Rayyan Stadium at Junction 3A (J3A), Dukhan Central at Junction 4 (J4), Truck Road at Junction 5 (J5), Sailiya Street at Junction 6 (J6) and Truck Road intersecting Dukhan Central at J12. The structures are formed of 11 box girder bridges, 9 T-Girder bridges, Underpasses and 320m cut and cover tunnel. The total cost of this project is Four Billion Qatari Rials.

Main Scope
▪ Defines with the lead designer (or other design subcontractor) the design program in accordance with the project schedule.
▪ Provides designers with proper input data (survey, technical JV preferences, geotechnical reports)
▪ Provides to the designer the potential Design Modifications Requests (DMRs).
▪ Follow-up of designer’s production in order to obtain approval of the design in accordance with the program.
▪ Leads the production of the shop drawings required for the site.
▪ Follow-up of “Comment and response sheets.
▪ Checks design outputs in compliance with Employers Requirements, site requirements, applicable standards, interfaces
▪ Follow-up of ICE review.
▪ Prepares design follow-up reporting.
▪ Organise all required meetings, including weekly design meeting with site team and design workshops with the designers and consultants.

Sheraton park project

Sheraton park project is a landscaped park, an underground four levels car park for 1, 986 cars, a 66KV substation 11 KV substation and a tunnel located under the cornich road. The Sheraton park project will consist of 73.000 m2 public park of exceptional quality. The total cost for this project is about 365, 000, 000$.

Main Scope
▪ Following up the site works with solving construction problems and circumstances.
▪ Attend follow up meetings with the third party (external checker) to discuss progress and schedule for dispatched drawings and calculation notes.
▪ Attend Meetings with the client to update the frame of work, methods of progress and discussing the design issues.
▪ Dealing with the method team to define the sequence of works in site.
▪ Preparing the site FCRs (Field change requests) and also the RTCs (response to the client comments).
▪ Dealing with sub consultant was hired for preparing the shop drawings by sending the new tasks, receiving and revising the finalized drawings and answering the RFI.
▪ Leading a team to prepare the As Built using the red line drawings and collecting of the data by direct site inspections.
Detailed works
▪ Preparing the structural analysis calculation notes for the connections between the park and the existing Sheraton building and the reinforced concrete design for the landscape works over the car park using SAP software under the British standards code.
▪ Checking the calculation notes prepared by the subcontractors.
▪ Leading a team consists of 4 members for preparing the shop drawings.
▪ Checking the consistency of the drawings with the calculation notes.

All the previously mentioned works are designed and detailed under the specifications of British

Main Scope
▪ Preparing structural design analysis and calculation notes for the underground stations.
▪ Coordinating with the shopdrawing engineers to issue execution drawings..
▪ Dealing with client to solve the desing issues and follow the revising process.

Detailed Works
▪ Participate in the structural design of the surface structures for the stations of phase1.
▪ Design of the intermediate slab for Kollyet el banat station.
▪ Preparing the shrinkage calculations of the slabs of kollyet el banat station.
▪ Design of roof slab of el Ahram station.
▪ Design of intermediate slab of el Ahram station.
▪ Design of the composite columns of el ahram station.
▪ Preparing the slabs shrinkage calculations for el Ahram station.
▪ Design of annexed structure 11A between Abbasia and Cairo fair stations.
▪ Design of annexed structure 13B between Cairo fair and stadium stations.
▪ Design of annexed structure 15A between stadium and Kollyet el banat stations.
▪ Design of annexed structure 19A between el Ahram and Haroun stations.
▪ Preparing the shrinkage Calculations for Haroun station.

All the previous mentioned structures are designed using SAP software and under the specifications of BAEL 90 and Euro codes.

▪ I participate also in preparing the shop drawings for the previous mentioned structure.

▪ The structural analysis and design of the R.C works for the light repair steel hall, the siding and cleaning tracks, the diesel engine, the lathe on pit and the bogie change halls.
▪ The structural analysis and design of the washing machine offices and the train washing area.
▪ Participate in the design of the high voltage station building.
▪ The structural analysis and design of the power station, the rectifier station, the signal box offices, switch room 1 and 2, the light repair workshop offices, the water tank and the fuel tank.
▪ For the previous mentioned structures i participate in preparing the design and shop drawings.

Egyptian Railway Train - Tanta Workshop
▪ Participate in the rehabilitation works of tanta workshop for about 24 buildings.

Nile Ritz Hotel
▪ Participate in the rehabilitation works for the existing hotel, design and preparing the shop drawings for the new constructed part of the hotel.

El-Sawah buildings Compound
▪ Participate in preparing the structural analysis, design and shop drawing.

Sea-55 Resort
▪ Participate in preparing the structural analysis, design and shop drawing.

Al-Waha High rise building-Nasr city
▪ Participate in preparing the structural analysis, design and shop drawing.

All the previous buildings are modeled and analyzed using finite element programs SAP, SAFE and ETABS under the specifications of the ECP the Egyptian code of practice.
