Purchase or contract for supplies, services and equipment required by any using agency, within the limits of the current budget approved.
Negotiate and recommend execution of contracts for the purchase of supplies, services and equipment.
Keep informed of current developments in the field of purchasing, prices, market conditions and new products;
- Controlling the procurement of Raw materials based on Time scale identified in MRP.
- Checking the accuracy of orders before issuing to suppliers.
- Analyses firm customer requirements and produce a workable plan for his product.
- Determine the Method of Supply based on demand, stock available, production requirement as well as supplier delivery performance and allocate relevant special costs (if needed) accordingly.
- Determine Over Deliveries & Negotiate with supplier accordingly ( Return or Scrap).
- Insure the Quality of all components supplied by the suppliers and solving all Quality issues in cooperation with the quality team.
- Monitor supplier’s delivery shortfalls and take necessary actions to resolve.
